Back Bay Pools, LLC

I have worked with a few pool contractors in the area and none have been as thorough as Back Bay was. I have had a leaky pool for years and past contractors would just slap temporary fixes on it. I finally contacted Back Bay and they told me that their solution would permanently fix my pool. Not only has my pool not leaked in over a year but my pool looks better than ever. I highly recommend Back Bay Pools for all outdoor renovation jobs.

Backbay Pools has done an excellent job on my home and several of my neighbors homes. They were quick to respond after hurricane Ian .I would definitely hire them again.

Do not hire this company! First, the paint color we chose for our deck (Graystone) turned to look like a completely different color from the color on their color board (it turned out “Oyster”). We told them as it was painted that it was incorrect, but they kept going. Then they actually painted up our house walls, our light gray exterior walls, with the deck paint (circled in yellow in my photo)! Right after that the concrete deck started bubbling and had to be redone. They forced us to buy the correct color paint and pressurer wash because of their mistake in the first place. When it came time for the repaint two weeks ago, they told us that we also had to tape the job! We said no, that’s your job! We already bought a 300 dollar pressure washer to fix THEIR work. The day of the repainting, a storm was coming though and when I called to see what we should do, no one responded. 3 days later I contacted them and Gina said she didn’t know when they could fit us in...to fix their mistake, mind you. I replied that I was going to report them for incomplete and shoddy work. Then Mike the husband called threatening me with lawyers and screamed the eff word at me And said I was “******* him off” before telling me to find someone else to fix his crappy work and hung up on me like a baby. AVOID AT ALL COST. It’s not slander if it’s true. Tell that to your lawyers! We will now hire a true professional to finish our deck, over 11k dollars later. Run! The yellow check is the color our deck was supposed to be painted . THEY SHOULD’VE PAID TO PURCHASE THE CORRECT PAINT COLOR. THEY SHOULD’VE PRESSURE CLEANED (THEY HAVE ONE THEY OWN). THEY SHOULD REPAINTED OUR HOME WALLS THAT WERE RUINED BY DECK PAINT. THEY NEVER SHOULD ASK THE CUSTOMER TO TAPE THEIR PRE WORK. THEY SHOULDN’T CURSE AND THREATEN CUSTOMERS. RUN RUN RUN!

We've been using him for 3 weeks now and he's made the biggest difference in the color, circulation and cleanliness of our pool. Our old pool service was cheaper ($65) but they didn't consistently show up so the pool was being neglected for periods of time. Mike, on the otherhand, shows up the same day at the same time each week which makes our schedule easier and we no longer have to rush home from work to lock-up our guard dog randomly. Another positive is they have an office manager who's in charge of billing which allows the pool guy to do what he does best and let's the office take care of finances. This aspect is important to me because I want a smaller company to do the work but the professionalism and structure of a well organized business. All in all, an excellent pool service is a necessity with our family of 5 swimming almost daily and we've finally found it with this place.
