Service tech showed up two hours late. When I told him the problem, he went to the AC compressor unit outside. I thought that was odd, the problem was the house fan, why go the outside compressor? He replace several parts that were testing as worn out. It got a new running capacitor and relay. I could see the contacts on the relay were burned and pitted and could also see that the capacitor didn't test well. When those parts were replaced, the compressor motor ran better. That's all fine and good, but those $50 worth of parts cost $350 to replace. Total of over $400 and the house fan still won't cycle. So I called somebody else. Different AC service company listened to the problem, went to the air-handler and found the problem in less than 30 seconds. A circuit board had burned out and had left a large black mark on the underside of the cover. This service company stated their cost up front - $189. Very professional and I don't feel like I have been scammed.

DAVE arrived at 8 AM and began the disassembly of the old unit. His asst arrived a bit later with all the new pieces. They worked diligently all day, and finished about 5:45. They made new plenums, and corrected some other errors from the older installation. Clean-up at the end was thorough. This was a very professional installation, Dave cares about his work.

My husband is an electrician and he knew exactly what it was.  They guy was great.  He didn't say he needed something else when we didn't.  When he quotes you a price, he takes the price that he quotes you.  I belonged to the new residents club at that time and I read out his card there.  I think he is really good and honest.  It's very important to me when somebody is honest.  It's very rare to find somebody in Florida that actually shows up on time.  I have used him for a complete cleaning of my unit too.
