Allied Pavers, Inc.

We paid the contractor upfront for the pavers. They did do some work. They said they had been robbed and would be back after it all got sorted out. They took our money and filed for bankruptcy after we never heard back from them. I received a letter from somebody and it turns out this company has done this several times. They take your money, file for bankruptcy, and change the name of their business.  We got a call from the paver manufacturer and they said they had never been paid. They want us to pay for the pavers. Now we have a lean on our house because we refused to pay again for the pavers we had already. We strongly suspect there is fraud involved.

Had a great salesman-- Joey. Came to the house twice before we decided on the type of patio we wanted. He measured out the amount of pavers we would need. It took several weeks before they had the pavers in stock. We were told the paver company was very busy. We finally had a date for the installation . The men who did the work worked so hard. They had to dig up the grass and lay down the sand. They didn't speak English, which was an inconvenience. One of the owners came by to check on the job. As the job was almost done, the men realized they were short on pavers! We called the company and were told there were no more pavers in the warehouse -- we could shorten the design or wait several weeks for more pavers! We decided to just redesign the pattern. The job was finally completed-- it took an entire day. Soon after, we discovered that the company had declared bankruptcy! Looks like we were lucky to get the job done!
