Never use Fifth Third for a mortgage. If Alan hadn't been there we would still be trying to get that mortgage! In Indiana the bank said they did not need an elevation certificate in Florida, Alan knew better and headed that problem off, and so many more!

When we couldn't be available to look at a home, he would walk through and skype it to us and give us his impression of the home.

His choices for people to do the inspections were very professional and gave us very good advice. He also had a good knowledge of people to do some updating and repairs to our home.

We have been working with Alan for about a year. Alan has been great on advising my husband and I on the various market conditions in the area and informing us on any issues potential homes may have. For example, my husband and I knew once one home had a wood frame, we did not want to make an offer due to how bad the termite problem is in our area. He has been extremely patient with us and is truly wanting to help us find our perfect home. We have seen probably about 15 homes with him so far, and he does not pressure us at all. He truly understands the dynamics of house hunting, and tries to find properties that have characteristics that both myself and my husband will enjoy. We just still have yet to find our perfect home. We would recommend Alan to anyone who is searching for a home in SWFL. 
On an additional note, I reached out to Alan for advice about a home I was selling in another state. He gladly listened to the situation and advised me on how the home should be marketed, etc. He is very down to earth and friendly, and always willing to help if he can.
***Update***
Since this review we did find a home, put an offer in, and it got accepted (after some negotiating). Alan was up front and honest with us about the pricing in the area and what he felt was the threshold of a good offer on the property. As soon as he would hear word back from the selling agency, he was quick to call my husband and I to keep us informed and to help us make the next decision. The process was smooth and painless. We still, obviously, highly recommend Alan!

Alan helped us purchase a home in the Cape Coral, Florida area.  Because we are living out of state we had numerous questions about this specific Southwest Florida area.  Alan provided us with all the information we needed to make an informed decision.  He answered all our questions very quickly and replied to all our requests immediately.  He educated us on what specific areas would meet our needs better.  All our phone calls and emails were promptly responded to quickly and thoroughly.   We spent several days in the area looking at homes. He was extremely patient with us through this whole process and went above and beyond with every need and request that we had.  We could tell that he really listened to us about our specific needs and wants.  The negotiating and closing process went very smoothly.  I have bought and sold many houses and I was very impressed with Alan's professionalism at all times.  He definitely knows the market in the Southwest Florida area and steered us in the right direction.  He is so good at educating a buyer on every expense whether you are a first time home buyer or an investor. We are so happy with the decision that we made and I would wholeheartedly recommended Alan for all your real estate needs!!!

Very smoothly. We did a remote closing and relied on Alan to make sure all the little details were taken care of. Every thing went as planned.
