I am a building contractor. My customer purchased a countertop through Dream Kitchen of Florida. He already paid $3.800 and wanted to get his countertop installed. The owner of dream kitchen is really sick and can not proceed to deal with Affordable Marble & Granite. Now they deny to do a template and install the countertop even that my customer will pay the rest of $4,200. So the total was $8,000. Hopefully Dream kitchen of Florida gets ahold of them and gets a refund. And we need to move on and will choose a different company. Brooke and one other employee promised a couple times to talk to the owner and will get back to me. BUT NEVER DID. Not really professional - won't recommend that company at all.

We installed cabinets for storage (not kitchen or bath) and put off getting a counter for years because of what it would cost. Someone suggested we look for a remnant as it would be much less expensive but we assumed a remnant would not work becasue what we needed was so long (13 feet). We were super wrong on both counts. Affordable Marble & Granite had exactly what we wanted in a remnant, there was enough of it and the price (with install) was SO MUCH LESS then we were expecting. Amazing! It only required 1 seam and you have to really look to even find it. The guys who did the install were super professional and nice. They left the workspace clean and they were very detail oriented. It was a great experience all the way around!

AMAZING!!! I am "over-the-moon" about this company and their totally affordable granite counter-tops!!! I just had a new granite counter-top put on an antique chest; for use in a new bathroom. Affordable has done ALL of the granite in my home and I loved every aspect of their work! This latest project is so perfect and way-over exceeds my expectations. This company has friendly, professional, skilled craftsmen doing all of their work; it comes out as ART! They are a pleasure to have in your home and they do work that is impeccable! They help you choose the colors and kind of granite, measure themselves,( for a perfect fit), cut, polish and install the granite (and in my case, also the sink). All the work they have done for me over 5 years is MY FAVORITE of all the projects in my home!!! They always come through, on time and with beautiful and professional results! YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY WITH THEIR WORK!

The granite and sink were fine but I would never recommend them for cabinets. Had to have them back two times after install to fix issues. We still have an issue with the molding on top of cabinets coming loose. They have fixed it twice in four months and other than running a swifter duster along the top and side no one touches that trim. When they came back the second time to fix issues, their person was rude demanding to know what we had done to create the problems. When they installed the cabinets, they were dirty and streaked. I was informed I could clean them. I did not pay them that amount of money to clean them myself after installed. Wood shavings left in every cabinet and drawers from drilling to install handles. Door did not meet and there was a noticeable gap. They did not have the ability to give me a drawing on what my kitchen would look like and after install I am not pleased. Had I seen a drawing, I Never would have purchased cabinets from them

The company does very good work, but there was a definite problem with phone calls not being returned, and getting them to complete the job.  The granite was installed in a timely manner, but they were also supposed to relaminate a knee wall.  It wasn't until the following February, after we got a third party involved, that the problem was finally resolved.  At that point, we requested our money back for that particular part of the job.  They issued us a check immediately.

We visited Affordable Granite on July 4th and talked to Ray the owner about buying a piece of granite as we already had a fabricator to fabricate and remove and install our new granite. Ray asked us if he was able to do the job for the same money, could he come out and give us an estimate. We talked about keeping the money in the Cape and we agreed to let him come out and give us a quote. We set up an appointment the next day and when Ray arrived, we talked in detail about everything we wanted done which consisted of cutting our existing bar top down so we could expand the counter. We talked about removing our existing granite and finally talked about adding 2 shelves into our shower. He also said he would seal the granite and also seal our new dining and bar tops that we just recently had installed. His estimate was higher than we talked about so we decided to go back to our fabricator and during the next two weeks we finally chose a piece of granite. We then found out that one sheet would not do the job and we would have to buy 2 sheets which was more than we wanted to spend. We remembered that Ray had a small remnent piece of the granite in the same pattern we chose so I put a call into him to discuss having him get started which he never returned my call.I finally stopped in and talked to him about doing the job and he was thrilled. He came by the house the next morning and said he could not cut down the bar top as his cabinet guy was too busy. We reminded him that his quote included cutting down the top and he said we would have to find someone to do it and it would be our expense, not his. We agreed that we would find someone to cut it down. His employee did a template and said once we cut it down to call him and he would finish the end of the template. I called my friend and he said he would do it this weekend so I called the office and set up an appointment for next Monday to finish the template.Well this morning Ray called my wife and said he did not want to do the job anymore. My wife asked why and he said he was not prepared to remove the exisiting countertops because he might damage them and he also felt he wasn't making enough profit on this job. My wife called him out about his quote and he rushed to get off the phone and was very cold to her.I called Ray from my office and he said the same thing to me. I asked him if he would sell the small piece of granite to me and he refused saying he might need it for another job possibly 2-3 months from now. I asked him what price would he sell it for and he said there was no price. If any of you are thinking about hiring Affordable Granite for cabinetry or countetops, beware as he obviously is not an expert on removing countertops and he is wishy washy on his quotes. Do not give any money until you get a contract signed from him and be sure to write everything down that you want because he is the type that will not do what he says he will do.

Affordable Marble & Granite were excellent. They were very helpful. The owner's wife took pictures of the slab of granite and emailed it to us. They agreed to hold the slab for us while I finish the installation of the cabinets which will be about a month and a half. I can't speak more highly of the place and the people who run it. They were very knowledgeable with colors and kitchen layouts. They were more than helpful enough to take you where they have the granite stored. They then removed it with a forklift and let you inspect it. They made you feel welcome and that you weren't taking away any of their valuable time. They were very professional, courteous and helpful.
