Very responsive, careful and explained everything.

I've been using Lotus Pool Service for the last 6 years and have been very happy with the service they provide.  Always very prompt and courteous about returning calls.  They even include a letter with the monthly invoice alerting you to seasonal things which I find very helpful. 

Came promptly, gave two options --  then ordered replacement and installed promptly.  Isolated small air leak in valve quickly and repaired as well.  Very satisfied.

I had recently purchased a home with a pool. Never met the previous owners, and, never having owned a pool before, I had no idea how to take care of it. Within 2 days of moving in, the pool had an algal bloom. No chlorine. (As it turned out, the salt cell was not functioning, along with some other issues.)
I had been given some advice from some pool owners on what to do, but that didn't seem to be working. None of the local pool stores would come out to evaluate it for less than $200 (not including labor or parts).
So I began calling pool services on Angie's List. Steve was the first to respond and he was even willing to come out on a Sunday to take a look at it. If he hadn't, the pump probably would have failed. He was very patient answering my many questions and labeled all the pipes for me.
He also does not try to sell unnecessary parts or do repairs that aren't needed.

They were excellent!  They're family-owned, and when I first met them up, the owner came out to see me.  They are trustworthy and reliable, and they go to our pool every Tuesday.  They were actually recommended by the guy who did the pool before we bought the house.
