Many flooring companies in the area offering various products. We chose Floors Alive because of their 30 years in the business and the reputation the business has in the community. The sales portion of the purchase was no pressure and became a complete lesson on the various materials and how they might fit into our personal needs. Having two medium size dogs for example played a major roll in the type of product that would best fit our home. We were able to take home samples and we made more than one visit to the store to gain additional information and to obtain additional samples to compare. We had several questions and all were answered to our satisfaction. Doing business with Floors Alive was like dealing with an old friend who was willing to take their time, share their expertise and make sure we were getting the right product for our needs.

Installation was another pleasant surprise. First of all the installer showed up on time and put in two steady days of labor. He was more than helpful, particularly in helping us old folks to put our furniture back when the job was complete. The work was extremely well done and professional. We are complete satisfied with our entire experience with Floors Alive and would recommend it highly to our friends and neighbors or anyone else that is looking for quality flooring done by professionals.

Buyer beware this business does not honor its coupons.  After a few trips to the store and bringing samples home we chose our carpet and wood flooring.  The owner came out and measured and later that day called with the estimate - approx $5,500.  I mentioned I had coupons from Angie's List for $100 each off carpet and wood flooring.  I was told they would honor the wood coupon but NOT the carpet coupon.  This was due to the manufacturer Shaw also offering $100 off carpet that came out of  his profit.  Is that my problem?  Not very professional.  Is that a reason not to honor a coupon on Angie's List? Then I was told we couldn't use a credit card as the bank fee also affected their profit.  We found the exact same carpet and wood flooring elsewhere for $100 less and they take credit cards which helps our double airline miles!!  If you have any coupons or want to use a credit card mention it first so you don't waste a lot of your time.

The carpet was installed very professionally. Andrew and his coworker were fantastic. One of the young men even offered to tighten some screws in a desk for me. Above and beyond!

From the initial bid through the furniture moving after the installation, Stacy and his crew were consummate professionals.
All work was performed on time, despite the death of a close family member in Stacy' s family.

Stacy was pleasant to deal with, was very knowledgeable. He patiently helped me narrow down carpet choices and pick a color. He was able to order the carpet and schedule the install within a week.
The installation crew was on-time, courteous and worked well together. They were very efficient and did a great job. The one seam in the installation is virtually undetectable, corners and transitions to tile well tacked down. The crew cleaned up everything very nicely. Finally, Stacy estimated the yardage well, so there was very little carpet left over.
It has been a couple of months and I am still very pleased with my new carpet/pad and installation.
