Great service while I waited.

Two encounters-- one OK, one bad.
OK encounter-- tune-up on my Prius. A little pricy, a few things probably didn't need to be done, but the mechanic seemed qualified and conscientious, and this was the only hybrid shop in town.
Bad encounter-- car broke down in blistering heat. Called tow, but when they showed up, car was able to start. Not having my cell, I asked tow to call ToyoDoc to ask if it was safe to drive there. ToyoDoc representative said yes, just drive careful. Arrived @ shop and Peggy @ front desk got mad @ me for driving there. I asked if they'd gotten a call from tow, answer yes. At that point it became he said, she said. All I wanted was to get out of the blazing sun and get the car fixed. Fail. I had it towed to my regular (wonderful) shop.
My gripe is that Peggy became emotional-- irrational. In all my (40) years of dealing with mechanics and shops, I've never had one have a hissy-fit. Very unprofessional. I've since heard of other customers who had the same experience.
Short version: shop seems competent-- just don't cross Peggy.

We have total confidence in him. He finds things that we did not know we had. We have been using him for a number of years. He knows the vehicles and he only handles Toyota. The quality of work and responsiveness is really good.

I have been there twice in a year. It is family run and nice. I asked how to clean the inside, because I couldn't use my normal product and the mechanic found some cleaner for me. They do extra things for me. They answer all of my questions.

I am very pleased with this garage as I have an older Lexus. They do not charge high prices to inspect and repair your auto. Parts are left to show you what they have done and the car is always 100% repaired when I take it home. This latest charge of $100 was for computer analysis and an oil change. The charge for the computer hookup will come off any charge for repair if needed. Michael O'Connor is a trained master Toyota mechanic and a very good one at that! If you need Toyota, Scion or Lexus repair, I more than recommend this site. this is my third visit to this establishment.
