Sikes Tile Service Inc

Hired Sikes Tile Service to remodel our master bathroom (they came highly recommended by Proline Tile).  Work begin 2/3/2014. The owner came to our house and quoted removing and replacing the tile on the walls and floor of the entire bathroom including the shower, remove and replace the marble at the base of the shower enclosure, remove the popcorn ceiling, fix a crack in it and then re-texture with a Spanish lace. 

From the beginning to the end of the process we encountered problems.  Cracked, chipped, marked and uneven tile. Crooked and chipped marble cuts.  Ceiling over spray on all walls.  Chipped and damaged toilet, countertops and bath tub.  Uncomfortably confrontational.  Very poor workmanship, very unprofessional people, never admit to their mistakes. They always presented an excuse that it was either the materials fault or that it was the only way it could be done.   They were given 3 opportunities to fix the poor workmanship but only fixed what they deemed bad.  We hired another installer to repair all problems ( all problems were repaired by new installer).  Because Sikes would not repair their guaranteed work or pay the new installers bill we took them to court and won.

 

They were very good. They did quality work and they do what they say they are going to do. We had them put pavers down on the driveway and the front walk and the front porch. They did a great job. They are there when they are supposed to be there.

They just did great work and made great recommendations on the tile. They did some design changes. They did incredible work. They did such good work installing the porcelain tile that people actually thought we put natural stone in. We had neighbors come over and they asked how we could afford to get stone put in. In fact we are going to sign a contract with them today to do pavers on the front driveway put to the new garage that another company put in for us.
