My overall experience with them was fantastic. They are excellent people. They did a great job and they were here when they said they were going to be here. They made sure that they covered everything. They complied with all the county regulations. Their prices were low. The other contractor that I called in, for the same sized deck they gave me a quote of $13000. I would say Pat Marvin Contracting has excellent prices. The quality of their service was good.

Overall, I'm satisfied. The issue is that he started the job in November and he just finished last Friday. This is typical of Florida contractors. They take out a job, come in for the day and then they'll work 10 other jobs so they can get them. I told him I wanted the same pavers that are in my driveway and he brought me used pavers that he must have taken from another job. I made him take them away. His prices are high. He was always responsive but it was always 3 or 4 weeks in between seeing him.

Pat gave us a fair price to do the job and completed it in a timely fashion (half a day) a week or so later. They went about their job with courtesy and professionalism. Normally I refrain from recommending contractors, but in Pat's case, I will make an exception.
