Gary, the owner and operator of the company, performed the work. In both bathrooms, once he removed the existing tile, he discovered water damage, rotting wood, and insect infestation in the walls. He replaced the affected wood and insulation. He exterminated the insects, then repaired the broken stucco outside that was allowing the insects to get into the wall.  He then put up the sheet rock, insulation, plastic sheet guard, and finally, the tiling.

I liked that Gary was able to deal effectively with the unexpected (some contractors can't, as we all know). There was nothing in the course of his work that he didn't know how to deal with.  Once he was done, he addressed a half dozen or so small fix-it jobs that needed to get done.  Again, he knew exactly what to do.

The tiling, which was the whole reason I hired him, came out perfectly.  I am 100% satisfied.

If you want a quick slap-dab job, he's not your guy.  He's measured and methodical.  He wants his work to be perfect and he wants it to last.

He also guarantees his work.  He told me to call him at any point in the future if I ran into any problems.  He and his family are local and have been for many years.  They're not fly-by-night people.  That was very reassuring to me.
