The sod-work performed was okay in the front yard and down-right horrible on the side and back yard. There are so many places that the sod did not take, many gaps which has caused a hazard to walk through the back yard without taking extreme caution. It appears that poor preparation and grading is the cause of this.  However, I got a good price and would not have been able to afford the yard I have with another company (you get what you pay for.) I  have been trying to contact the owner for the last month to get a receipt for service so that I can turn it in to my water department for an adjustment on my waterbill without success. All attempts to reach Mr. Loomis by phone and text message have been ignored.

We used Champion because the previous owner of the house we bought had used them.  We thought the price they charged was too high ($200), but since we were new to Florida, we decided to go ahead and use their services.  We have a sprinkler system that includes heads in the hedges, and Champion's crew destroyed at least one of the sprinklers on almost every visit.  They almost never told us about the sprinklers and we had to discover it when they came on.  We consistently asked them to be careful and they would be careful during the next visit, but not thereafter.  We finally switched to Moving America One Yard at a Time because of a recommendation from our neighbor and we couldn't be happier.  They only charge $90 and clean up afterward (Champion want extra for cleaning up).  Also, they carry sprinkler equipment and screening in their truck and repair any damage when it occurs.  The moral of the story is: go with Mowing America One Yard at a Time and you won't be sorry.

They are very good.  I’ve only used them once.  I paid them $1600 and that included everything.  I didn’t have to pay anything extra.  They told me that they would do some sprinkler work if I needed it.  I haven’t compared their prices with anyone else.  They were responsive.  They called me right back as soon as I called them.  They are supposed to come out again.  They said that they would come out monthly for $45, and they would keep up the plants and everything, and do all the weeding for me.  I will use their services again in the future.
