My husband gave Brays a check for $3000 which was 50% of the contract.   We later learned that $6000 for the work was about $3000 more than what we should have been charged.  When we learned that they had charged at least double what other sod companies were charging, (my husband had given them a 50% down payment and Brays had already removed the old sod), we asked for an adjustment on the contact.  Brays refused. We cancelled the rest of the contract and contracted with another sod company (whose work was about half of the cost) to complete the job.  Brays refused to refund any money.  We only learned of the overcharge because it was our neighbors who informed us that we had been seriously overcharged when they learned of our contract.  It is my personal belief that Brays took advantage of my husband's age and lack of knowledge about sod and costs. He was 80 at the time.

I've been using them for about 6 years. They do a good job. The workers are pretty professional. They keep the bugs away. They were very reliable. They come when they say they're going to come. Their pricing is fairly competitive.

Bray's Pest Control, was horrible, I would not recommend them. We had lost some lawn during the winter and my husband had signed a contract and then they tripled the cost on the sod after we had already put a down payment of $3,000 on it. So we canceled the contract and went to some one else and got it for less. We had also signed another contract and paid $600 for them to get rid of squirrels in the roof and they only caught one and it escaped. We requested a refund and didn't get it.

They came out and explained everything they were going to do.  When they came out again they forgot what they told me.  They were going to put a screen up near my drain on both sides, which I had to remind them to do when they came out.  They forgot to turn off the light in my attic when they put traps up there.  I would not hire them again.

They knock the cob webs down and spray for anything they find. They come out an unlimited amount of times during the year. No questions asked. They even came out to my house when I had a rat in the attic and they laid traps. They got rid of it for me. Al is like an expert on everything in Florida. Sometimes they pester you to try and sell you lawn service. I would stay away from them for the lawn service because it's not their specialty.
