Billy the Sunshine Plumber - Brooksville

Dan is the man. We hired him for a quick repair last year and he impressed us so much, we called Billy's Sunshine Plumbing for the next job. And the next. We're renovating a house and there will be a 4th job. You guessed it. We'll call Billy's.

Our plumbing was backed up and needed a clog unplugged. I called Billy's and when told what was going on they were there 10 minutes after the call. Jeff came out and was more than professional, I would highly recommend Billy the sunshine plummers ...

On 12/21/20 Plumber responded to shower leak in master bathroom in our mobile home for $89. Reported no leaks but suggested apply more silicone caulking to glass. At no time did he run the shower. However, the diagnosis was incorrect. The water pooled under shower pan as drain attachment faulty. As a consequence, the floor has to be replaced including some in adjoining master bedroom plus wall and mold removal. Due to necessary floor repairs we decided new shower should be installed. Requested quote from this company but as of 1/23/21 have not heard from them. We also needed repair to kitchen sink leak which was scheduled a week out. Unable to wait we called someone else to do the work. They claim there was misunderstanding but in my opinion, an opinion only, they were upset because we opined on an attitude problem and they decided not to do work for us. They previously did two jobs satisfactorily before this. I will be posting comment to neighborhood blog and community’s vendor book.

The night before Thanksgiving our kitchen sinks would not drain. We needed drain cleared that night or the following day, Thanksgiving, would have been a disaster. Jeff of Billy The Sunshine Plumbers, Brooksville responded to call for service at approximately 9.30 p.m. He was courteous and knew what he was doing and "snaked" the drain thoroughly with his machine. This fixed the problem. No mess left behind. Thanks to him the family Thanksgiving day was a success.

Chris was wonderful! He went above and beyond to repair aging fixtures so we could get back to normal ASAP!

Chris arrived exactly on time. He not only made all the necessary repairs at a reasonable price but he was willing to walk me through much of the process as he worked so I could understand what the repair entailed. He was a total professional and in the future, this is the company I will call for any and all plumbing services.

Excellent. He cleaned out our drains from the vents on our roof. Found the clog and was able to push it out to septic.

Scott replaced the toilet with a new one. Installation was completed in a timely manner and work appears to be of high quality. Highly recommended.

The leak was found quickly and the plumber, Chris, was there the next day. He worked quickly, efficiently, found the problem immediately, cleaned as he worked. I am so grateful that I found a plumbing company that I know I can now depend on. Thank you both Scott and Chris ...excellent service, fair prices.

He was good. I have never had a problem with them. I haven't had any problems with my on demand system like I used to.

After diagnosing my old faucet was leaking and needed replacing - he offered to show me a couple he had in his truck, that were reasonably priced.  I asked to pick out my own and he called the office to see if he could continue job with the remaining time still available on next visit to install faucet after I had purchased the one I wanted.  He came back after I rescheduled- installed new faucet without any additional costs or fees- just as was agreed.  Very polite and courteous.  He even cleaned and shined the faucet before leaving.  Couldn't have asked for a better experience.  Highly recommend.

Water was leaking from the toilet tank. I shut off the water to the toilet and called my landlady at l:50pm. At 2:00pm, I received a call from Billy the Sunshine Plumber. I described the problem, and they said they'd have a plumber out in a few hours. They called at 4:00pm to tell me Chris, the plumber, would arrive in about 15 minutes... and he did! He diagnosed the problem and fixed it immediately. He was in my home for about 30 minutes. I mentioned a County rebate program for replacing older toilets, and he told me that only applied to owner-occupied homes (rats!).
Chris was professional and friendly. I would highly recommend him and the company.

One night we heard the water running in the toilet and called them the next morning. Scott came out within 24 hours and found that the problem was the rubber seal had fallen off and was ready to go down into the toilet. He replaced the seal but found that the fill valve was not right and replaced that too. Scott said that the supply line had a plastic valve and it should be a stainless one.I had the supply line changed too. It was somewhat disappointing that the supply line had to be changed because they installed the whole toilet 2 1/2 years ago. Labor is a little high at $84 an hour ($5 off for senior citizens) and the parts were relatively inexpensive. In retrospect I should have had Scott take a look at the other toilet to make sure that was okay as the whole job only took 20 minutes. The toilet works just fine now and I would use them again.
