A & S Tile

All went well with the replacing of the tiles. But a few years down the road some fell off (he said they would last longer than the original... NOT SO). Seems he had bigger jobs than mine. I patched it up, went through the summer and no call back. Gave him a call the following spring, still to busy for me. As it turns out got a handy man to fix (he did a great job). Looks like I'm going to have to do it all over again. Grout keeps coming out. Not hiring A&S Tile.

Alan and his crew were prompt, courteous,and professional.
He quoted us a price and did not charge us more even though he found some extra loose tiles, he repaired those ,which involved more work for him and his crew.
He was meticulous with the job, our tile and grout never looked better.
We were truly impressed with his integrity as well as his work !

I used Al because my property manager recommended him. The job he did was fantastic and at a great price. My back spash is now complete and everyone is happy with the work; myself included. I'll definitely use him again if a need arises!

Was very prompt, knowledgeable and professional. One person firm and he only does tile, etc on pools.
We prepaid as we were in Michigan for the summer. He stayed in contact, completed the work as he described. I can only say very trustworthy and excellent craftsmanship!!

They did an excellent job.  They were very punctual.  They did the job in a pretty fast manner and didn’t waste time.  Another person gave me an estimate and it was considerably more and would have taken longer.

We called for an estimate and they got right back to us.  We set up an appointment and he was on time. agreed on a price and we picked out the tiles. As soon as the tiles  were in we set up a time and date for the job to be done. Al and his crew were on time, did a great job, and cleaned up and disposed all of the old tiles etc.  Would recommend them to everybody.

I cannot begin to express my complete satisfaction with A&S. Alan and his team were pros from start to finish. The result is actually much better than I had hoped for. He turned our 15 year old tired pool into something that looks like it was installed yesterday. No, really, it's that good.
A&S did the pool across the street from us and are now doing some work for another one of our neighbors. That only happens when the results are so clearly fabulous that they knew from looking at our pool that we had found the right guys to do their pools.
If you need any tile work done on your pool you have to call A&S! Using somebody else would be a major mistake.

I already had  an estimate for the job.  He was the lowest estimate but perhaps you only get what you pay for.  he started the job and finished the same day. ok but not great.

Unfortunately due to the weather, Alan was not able to start on time but he did call us to keep us updated and the next day he was there as promised. They removed the coping and old grout replacing any cracked tiles as needed.  The old grout under the coping was removed. Then all was re-grouted.   It took approximately 4 hours and they were done. Also, they cleaned up EVERYTHING.  We didn't have to worry about the chunks getting in the filter because Alan cleaned up those too.  Alan is professional and friendly.  He treats his customers they way he would want to be treated. It is very hard to find companies in our area so we are very pleased that we found Alan. We will highly recommend him and we will certainly use him again.

Al is fantastic.  He's friendly and professional, and his rates are great.  He did an absolutely wonderful job on our tile and we will call him again when we need help.  Also, we will definitely recommend him to everyone!

A & S Tile is one of the service providers that are all A's, and the only provider we will use.  For the amount of work they did, $1360 was a very good price!  Actually, we purchased the materials, so the $1360 was just for the labor.  It still is a very good price for their work!

The best experience of  the subcontractor my husband and I have had in the 19 years we've lived here. They came when they said they were going to come. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and they were extremely neat, very polite, and they did a fabulous job. He is very reasonable. I can not say enough good things about these people. I wouldn't use anybody else to work on my pool. He does outside tile for pools and he is the man to have without a doubt.

Alan and his crew showed up at my house at 8:30AM and did not stop until past 4:00PM. They removed all the patio furniture in our lanai. They removed all the loose brick coping. They proceeded to remove all the grout around the coping and around the tiles. They cleaned and repaired the loose coping. The next day they acid washed the pool and re-grouted the entire area. We mentioned that the pool light had not worked for two years and next thing I know he was offering to fix it, no extra cost. They cleaned the area when they were done and brought the furniture back inside. The work was done thoroughly and the pool looks brand new. His crew was courteous. It is not always easy for a woman to deal with contractors. However, Alan was specific about what needed to be done and what it would require.  He gave me a lot of helpful hints on pool maintenance. It was a refreshing experience doing business with him.
