Called Zimmerman's on recommendation of another AC company who could not do the work. The air was out and it was hot ! Dave and his team jumped right on it and had my house cooled down and the unit repaired the same afternoon. Can't say enough about the great customer service and willingness to go above and beyond to bring the misery of the Florida heat to and end. Would recommend to all. Thanks Dave.

David was prompt and courteous. He cares about doing things right, and it showed in every step of the process.

He was extremely informative and helped by providing all the information we needed. He arranged for the electrical and they coordinated the activities. David also took care of the rebate from the electric company.  His team came out and did a great job of the install. 

I can't say enough good things, we would use Zimmerman's AC again and recommend them to anyone.

I have been using the company for about 3-4 years. The technicians are competent. The company is reliable and trustworthy. They have not tried to price gauge or up sell. Their office is far from our house but they are great about sticking to our scheduled appointments. They are best in the Tampa area.

drain continues to work properly after being flushed and vacuumed with shop vac. I'm very satisfied.

David came to my home, did a complete inspection and sat with me to review the many options available. He got estimates on the different options promptly and communicated details in e-mails. I was particularly impressed at how David keeps his employees trained on the latest systems by sending them to the manufacturer's schools (nothing subcontracted here!). Their training was very apparent during the installation. They were prompt, courteous, and totally professional.

This is the best experience I have had with a contractor EVER. I highly recommend David Zimmerman and his team. They're the best!

After initially setting up the date to be on Wednesday, they called and said they'd be there on Tuesday if it was okay with me. I must say that the system was not broken and still working, so we could accommodate their schedule either way. The old system was approximately 23 years old, it was still working but we were afraid it could go toes up at any time and it wouldn't be repairable. The tray under the air handler was all rusted out. So rather than wait for it to fail and have suffer through days until a new system was able to be put in, we would replace it pre-emptively so we wouldn't be inconvenienced. After all, this was the first part of August!

The crew of three arrived on time around 9:00 and immediately began to dismantle the old unit. A supervisor arrived later in the morning with the new units and other supplies. and took the old units away. The crew worked diligently and efficiently. With three guys and tight space in the attic they managed to work smoothly and never get in each other's way. They completed the installation and had it running properly when they left around 5:00. I was surprised that they could do it all in one day. They cleaned up all the debris before leaving and made sure I understood how the system works.

David cam buy later that week to finish signing paperwork and do a final inspection before the county inspector arrived. The inspector signed off without comment. The project seemed daunting at first but it went so smoothly I was surprised. One of the crew members, Derrick, came back to make some final adjustments and replace a breaker. I love the system. It's quiet and efficient and we no longer have to worry about the A/C going out in the heat of summer or the heat not working during our few cold spells.

Obviously, Zimmerman's will be my HVAC company and will do my yearly inspections to make sure it will last a long time. Maybe as long as the old unit did!

This has got to be one of the best service companies I have ever dealt with. Dave, the owner gave me a fair quote, knew what he was talking about and stayed with the project from beginning to end. His guys worked clean and took care to not get attic dust or drywall dust all over our things. I would definately and highly recommend them!
The reason i chose their Mitsubishi system was it allows me to run my air conditioning system off of my solar panels!!! I have a 3,000 sq. ft. house and was able to go from a 5 ton down to a 3 ton and still have total comfort. Plus I can have my office warmer than my wife's all at the same time.

He is great. I always use him. He is a man of his word. He is excellent. I wouldn't use anyone else. IF your unit can be repaired he will fix the problem and not try and sell you a new one.

Gave estimate over the phone, then came out and detailed the job. Revised estimate. Talented staff and David, the owner, worked very hard himself to install the system. I recommended him to a friend who is having a similar system installed.

Zimmermans was great! The tech ran a bit late (he was lost) but was in constant contact with me letting me know where he was and when he expected to arrive. He was professional and fixed the issue quickly, The price seemed a bit high but I received excellent and quality service so I don't mind paying for that. Would recommend.

He's very reliable. Everyone on the small staff is excellent. He's very trustworthy, and his prices are reasonable.

Job went perfectly. There was a manufactures defect but it was taken care of quickly.

I cannot say enough great things about David Zimmerman. I called him late on a Sunday afternoon and he answered the telephone himself. He told me that he would be able to come out to take a look, but he would not be able to get here until about 9:00 p.m. but he was up for the job. He arrived at 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday night, took a look at my unit and explained what the problem was. He also explained that the part was a warranty part and he handled the processing of the warranty paperwork and only charged me for the service call. The service call fee for a Sunday night was high, but he did give me a discount for being a member of Angie's List. He was very professional and I haven't had a problem since. He definitely earned a repeat customer in me.

This company fought for me to get the warrantied coils from the manufacturer, unlike other comapny that I've been using for yeras (Air Rescue!) and that didn't even want go to my house anymore because it has defective drywall. This is a very honest and good quality company. Thanks!

They were great! Dave was very responsive to all my questions. He responded to my phone calls immediately. He also did a lot of research about all of our options, including which units would qualify for the new tax credit. He is a very customer-service oriented business owner. He doesn't want to do estimates over the phone; he wants to see the home, the layout, the present system, etc. He was very professional--keeping himself clean when he came into the house and cleaning up outside when they were done. I was most impressed with his honesty and integrity. The other salesmen I had met were very slick and made me suspicious. Dave kept his word. When there were materials that they didn't need, he took that off the price, so in the end, our cost was less than the estimate.
