I choose World of Floors because their price was lower. BIG MISTAKE I should have trusted my gut that paying a little more would be worth it. They installed new wood floors as well as carpet in a large home. Wood was installed beautifully. Carpeting was installed with the wrong padding. I knew the minute I stepped on it and called them up. They told me they never charged me for the upgrade and said if I paid the difference they would replace it. The came out and replaced it but there was a LOT and I mean a LOT of left over carpet and padding. In fact there was a whole role of padding that was never opened. The installers asked if I would like it hauled away and I said no because I wanted to see if I had paid for more than I needed, and I wanted to be sure I got a refund. I thought that was weird to have so much left over since the salesman showed me on the computer how he was accurately placing pieces to "save me money". I spoke with Diana the owner. She agreed after a few weeks to review the matter and I sent pictures to show how much there was. She gave me a partial refund. A few months later we re-carpeted a rental of ours. Since they corrected their mistake I went with them again. This time Jaime was our salesman. He never showed us the computer and we arranged for full house carpeting. After they were finished we AGAIN had tons of carpet and padding left over, one piece was enough to carpet another large room. Beyond the huge scraps, one piece was 15 x 12 ft! When I called Jaime our salesperson about the excessive remnants, he screamed at me and he actually said "you pay by the job, not by the square feet" REALLY? And I BET HE got something from the installers for the extra's that they "took away" too! I called Diana again. She said she would send someone over to pick it up because she had no idea what was sent. As a business owner if you have my house measurements and you have the order placed - you should be able to catch when something is not right. I said I want to make sure I got my refund again. That was the last I heard from her. I have called off and on for six weeks. I leave my name and number and she does not call back. Finally I left a message that said return my call or I am writing a review, which I hate to do. I would have much preferred to have my refund and the extra carpet hauled off. Looking back I remember that the installers seemed kind of mad that they didn't get to take the extra carpet and padding. They never mentioned returning it to the store - just "taking it away". RUN AWAY and Never use a business that say the per foot price is the lowest but sells you MORE than you need! VERIFY YOUR NUMBERS before signing a contract. Also, look them up on Glassdoor.com. Employee reviews are horrible. Apparently they don't pay commissions correctly either. This may be the way sales people increase their sales!

Sales staff was very helpful before the job.  The quality of laying the tile was fine.  But the care to prevent damage to baseboards and walls was unsatisfactory.  If I had known that tile layer was not going to take proper precautions, I would have ensured baseboards and walls were protected with painters tape.  But tile layer was experienced and I assumed he would take the proper precautions.  But he did not.  Additionally, the dirty brown grout water was discarded on my outdoor rock garden rather than in the dirt.  Rocks was stained and I had to re-rock the entire garden.  After the job was completed, I had to clean up the stained baseboards and wallpapered walls.  Some of baseboards had to be repainted and I even had to paint the wallpaper to hide the brown stain.  Luckily wallpaper was white and I was able to spot paint.  Company offered to to send someone with a sponge to clean the baseboards but they did not look at the damage and I don't think they realized that it was a big job to clean all of the baseboards.  Plus, furniture had to be moved away from the walls to get to the baseboards.  Company did place a few bags of rocks over the stained rocks but they did not match.  If you contract with this company, ensure that you take the precautions to protect baseboards and walls and do not rely on the tile layer.

From start to finish it was great! Jaime helped my wife and pick out the right flooring for our needs. The installation was also a smooth process and Robson was great! Knew what he was doing and treated it as if it was going in his own house. Would highly recommend them. Will be back when ready to do the rest of the house.

The contractors removed and hauled away old carpeting and tile floors and installed new tile flooring throughout the house. Also repaired and replaced carpeted stairs with wooden stairs. The tile guys purposely took their time to do an excellent job of laying the 24 by 24 inch tile on the diagonal. We are very happy with the 3000 square feet of tile that was installed. It took a while for the wooden stair guy to start the wooden stairs so we had to wait an extra week to have the whole house completed. Although the whole process took more than a month, the floors and stairs are beautiful. The tile workers even worked the weekends. They were punctual and professional. The wait was worth it. If you want quality work, I recommend World of Floors.

After an unprofessional experience with Naffco Brandon's home quote person (see review posted on their page), we were very concerned about finding another company who could help us. We went to World of Floors in Brandon where they sold the exact same flooring that we were looking at Naffco for a fraction of the cost. Their sales person, Jaime, came on a Saturday and was so helpful and polite. He also measured the sq ft as less than what was previously quoted. In addition, their quote (which was actually on a professional document with the company's name and breakdown of charges as opposed to Naffco's) included free moving of furniture, free carpet removal, etc. He explained everything and answered any questions we had. Their quote for the same project came in over $1200 less than the previous quote and they said it could be done in 1 day as opposed to 2-2.5 days. In fact he said he didn't understand why we had been quoted 2 days as it wasn't that much area to be covered. All the flooring and install was also guaranteed. We decided to go with them. Within a few days the flooring was in and they gave us an install date of the following week. The floors were installed in one day as promised and they are gorgeous. I am very happy that we went with World of Floors and not Naffco.

They were great. They were on time and finished quickly. Laminate still looks great.

The pricing was better then any other.

I went to World of Floors on a Sat. I brought in the measurements and let the salesperson, John know that the measures did not include the linen closet. The tile came in (I had to pay $65.00 + dollars for shipping.) Two workers came last Friday, July 6th. They discovered damage to the vanity from water leakage around the toilet. I had a plumber look at the problem And a handyman fix the vanity. The installers were supposed to return on Wed. At 8:00 am. They did not show up. The store sent another installer at 9:30 am. He proceeded to work, but discovered there was not enough tile ordered. We called World of Floors and again spoke with John. He YELLED at me on the phone. He said it was my fault that we did not have enough tile. Meanwhile, no one from the store ever came out to take a measurement of the bathroom. More tile was ordered. At first, I was goin to have to pay the same $65.00 plus shipping for the additional tile. John called back and I ended up paint half of the $65.00 shipping cost. I was told the installer would be back on Thurs. Or Fri. For the install. He was here fri. Tile was installed. Toilet was hooked up and it still leaked. My plumber came back and fixed the leak. He said the wrong type of wax ring was used. He also cleaned off the toilet where the installer got wax prints on various places of the toilet. There was NO transitional stop put between the carpet and tile even though there was one there originally. Also, the first installers left two dirty soiled marks on my carpet from their shoes. All in all I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from this company. Even though they had previously done two other jobs for me, I would NEVER hire them again.

The attendant was very nice. The service was very pleasant and he dropped the flooring off for me.

As a resident of Ohio with a part time condominium located near Tampa, FL, most research was done by long distance and internet. The name of this organization was obtained from ServiceMagic, names of other companies from Angie's List. Other companies were contacted for comparison prior to speaking with World of Floors at time of purchase. Sales representative was Jay N****, who has a practiced sales style and is willing to spend the time necessary to be as accommodating to the customer as the situation demands. Mr. N**** contacted me in response to my ServiceMagic request several months prior to the purchase date and was willing to work with me based upon the unique circumstances of not being on site to obtain an estimate. He was also understanding when I told him I would not do anything now and would let him know the next time I was in Florida. World of Floors was chosen as the carpet supplier for several reasons - availability of the preferred style of carpet was most important. This company was able to obtain the quantity of carpet needed, arrange for installation within a few days, despite the fact a holiday week-end occurred during the time the carpet was ordered and installed. Quality and style of carpet met our needs and matched those found with other companies. Price was not quite were I wanted to be and, had I more time, I believe additional negotiation would have yielded a better deal. That said, I do feel the ultimate price was appropriate and the premium paid understandable under the circumstances. The installers were knowledgeable and efficient. The area was completely prepped, so the only services needed was installation. The seams, layout and stretching were done properly, quickly and professionally by the leader and two helpers. Mr. N**** indicated the installers were good, and my experience verified this claim.
