STAPLES THE OFFICE SUPERSTORE

I bought a new chair for my office. I even paid extra for the 3 year service plan. It was all completed, with the exception of one armrest bolt that would not screw in because the hole for it was improperly tapped. I called Staples and they said I would have to bring it back in for a replacement. I see a problem with this: I spent over an hour assembling the chair and trying to figure out if there was any way I could get that bolt properly seated without stripping the threads, and now I, the paying customer who also shelled out extra money for a 3 year service plan, have to disassemble, repack and DRIVE this junk back to their store, just so I can trade it in for a now-questionable replacement? Is this worth my time and money? I'm not so much angry at the store where I bought it, but more with their phone and chat "assistance".
