If I were forced to choose only one service provider to work on my home, it would be James Beesley whose company is called Rite-Way Painting. I have been using James since we bought our house in 2001. He was recommended to us by a colleague of mine who was one of his satisfied customers. The first job he did for us was painting the interior of our newly-purchased home, both walls and woodwork. He and his assistants did an absolutely meticulous job at a very reasonable price. Over the years we have had James back to replace and repaint rotted wood, power wash the house and surrounding concrete surfaces and clean and seal seal our patio. Last year James painted the exterior of our home and garage. It took one week to complete and the job is as perfect as can be (and I am really picky so this is high praise indeed). He is very patient - I was having trouble deciding on a color and never once got impatient with me because of my indecisiveness. Before painting the house, he even washed our roof which was a good thing because the roof turned out to be a totally different color than what we thought! Recently, I noticed a few tiny rusted nail spots that had seeped through. James came back, re-primed and touched up those areas for me at no charge. He really stands by its work which to me is the sign of an excellent craftsman. We have never used him for "specialty" work (like "faux" painting and such), but I know that he is licensed as a specialty painter. James is also the nicest person you'd ever want to meet which is a big plus. He really goes out of his way to satisfy his customers and this was another thing that was very important to me.
