R. S. Enterprises

After calling two or three fencing companies listed on Angies List and not having a single return call, I tried Ross at R.S. Enterprises(Handyman) and was fortunate enough that he returned my call....set up an appointment to give estimate..showed up
when he said he would and kept us up to date on the repair( a little delay due several days of rain). His work was excellent and price was fair. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in reccommending him for any home improvement project.

He is a good example of how a project should be done from start(initial phone call) to finish. 

He was a no-show. He didn't even have the professionalism to call. I had driven 25 miles to meet him and he didn't even answer his phone when I called, or return my call when I called a second time and left a message.

I had a small hole on the wood overhang on the front of my house. I called a roofer and Ross from R.S. Enterprises.  The roofer seemed skeptical of what exactly needed to be done. Ross explained everything in detail of what he thought was needed and we agreed on a date for him to come out.
Ross showed up on time and after exposing the water damage on the roof overhang, had me look at everything and explained exactly what he would do - and we agreed to add a gutter to prevent further damage. He sawed off the rotted pieces of wood and replaced 3 long sections. He then purchased a gutter and installed that also, He calked all along the replaced wood, cleaned everything up and made sure he spoke to me and brought me out to look several times during the process.  He was very professional and I was extremely satisfied with his work. I would highly recommend him.

They tested the flow and pump. Found that the pump was working properly, but the lines were getting plugged. Re-scheduled for pumping and cleaning of lines. They used a special tool that uses high pressure water to cut roots and flushed the lines. Re-tested for flow and returned the yard to as near normal as they could. They were professional and worked hard while they were on the property.
Everything was done as promised and within the estimate.
Of course, I didn't like paying a couple thousand dollars, but the price and quality of work was well worth it. When it comes to septic, if you figure how long your septic works, for a couple thousand dollars every 6 or so years it is still cheaper than what you pay a municipality for sewer.

He sent me an email the night before, cancelling our appointment.

Overall this went better than I could have expected.  Ross came out and looked at everything and gave us a fair quote.  Ross was extremely easy to work with and gave us great advice on what was worth doing and what wasn't worth doing.  There were many times where Ross could have said "yes" to work to make more money, but was honest about the value that work had for the money and told us not to do it.  He actually talked us out of work on many occasions because he was worried about what was best for us as a customer.
Ross is very diligent about his work, is very professional, focused on doing greatly quality work and doing it the right way.  He would rather take a little longer and do a better job, than do something fast and low quality.
