"Customer purchased two (2) Sealy Posturpedic Twin mattress sets, NOT Serta as his complaint reports. Serta has many lower end mattresses which is what he was using as a price comparison. The mattress sets he purchased were on sale at Macy’s for over $600 for each set the day he purchased from us. This was explained to him at time of purchase, therefore ensuring he knew he was getting an impeccable deal (customer paid $279 a set). Customer’s complaint is that the mattress “squeaks.” He bought a coil mattress; this is a common trend with coil mattresses. He also did not purchase a new bed frame from us. The “squeaky” noise he is hearing is most likely due to the customer using an old bed frame. As for the “pocket” on the mattress the customer is referring to; this is the style of the mattress. We told the customer he can bring back in the sheet set he purchased and we would be more than happy to switch it out for a new set. If the elastic broke on the fitted sheet, then it’s clearly a defect in the sheet manufacturing. Therefore, as with ALL of our products, if there is a manufacture's defect we will gladly exchange it out for our customers. Solution: Being that we are a closeout company, we have a no return policy unless it is due to a manufacture's defect. This is a standard policy within the industry. This is also posted in two (2) different areas in our sales office. We are the only closeout company in the Tampa Bay area that offers a 30 day warranty to cover any type of manufacturer’s defects. Due to the fact that the customer does not have a defective product we cannot allow him to return it. However as for the sheet sets, we will gladly exchange the opened/defective set for him and will allow, as a courtesy, for a refund of the second set if it is still in its original packaging."
