They are outstanding- their service representatives are outstanding and professional, that is why I use them.

On June 27, 2014 I went to the Kauffman Tire store located
at 841 Lithia Pinecrest Rd, Brandon, FL and had four new tires put on my Acura
TL invoice. When I picked up my vehicle the cashier/manager told me
that I needed to replace the lower control arm bushing and it is also noted on
my receipt.
Shortly after the tire installation, I took my vehicle to my regular garage for a
routine service and I asked them to check the control arm
bushings as noted by Kauffman's manager. It should be noted that this garage has a stellar reputation and professionally trained mechanics. They are a BBB and
Angie’s List “A” rated garage and I trust them without question for all my
service and repair work. That being stated they inspected the control arm
bushings and found no problems and verified there are in good working order.
I find this very disturbing that a company manager would
note a problem on my vehicle where none exists in a rather blatant attempt to
get me to pay for additional service. This does not include the attempt to get
me to pay for things like a battery terminal cleaning or fuel system service
which I am sure amounts to dumping a can of injector cleaner in the gas tank.
It is these types of subtle deceptive practices that get a low rating and
I pity anyone who lacks the basic automotive knowledge to be
taken advantage of in this way by these same practices.

I have noticed a odd sound when I brake, I have called about it and they want me to bring it back in to fix it. The tires are fine. I have used them many times in the past, about 7 times.

Car was in serious wreck six months ago. Hit a semi truck drive shaft. Blew out two front tires, ripped one tire rim off car. Tore the transmission transfer case off the car, and ripped the frame in half in two places. Car had a complete frame off rebuild. Rear tires stayed on the car, per insurance company saying the tires were fine. Six months and 12,000 miles later, car started to jump at slow speed. Took it to Kaufman's. Described problem. Without examining car, the rep described what was wrong. Delamination. Took me out to the car, and sure enough, one tire was delaminating. The hunt was on for two matching original equipment Michelin Tires. He had them in the shop in one half hour. This is what was so amazing. If I wore safety glasses, I was welcome in the shop to observe the work on the tire install. The tech explained all steps, examined the under parts of the car, and with flashlight in hand, showed me the condition of all four brakes. I can not say enough about this shop. If someone was up sold goods or services, I'll bet they were needed. A+++.

Initially I was planning just to stop in and get an estimate for new tires and have the tires changed the next week. I reviewed with Jose what tires were available for my car and selected the one I thought I wanted to purchase. Jose wrote up a purchase order with all the charges listed so that I would know exactly how much the tire change would cost. Jose said that there were technicians available to do the tire change right then. I asked about getting the oil changed as well and got a price for having it done. I chose to get the tires changed and the oil changed right then instead of coming back later. I had done my homework before going to Kauffman and comparison shopped the tires I wanted. I knew from my research that Kauffman Tires gave me the very best price I could find. They beat the price for the exact same tires at Costco, Sam's, Olin Mott, 3 other tire stores as well as online. I was very satisfied with service provided and appreciated the prompt and complete service.

I found them online, looking for a specific tire. They had it availabe and gave me a guaranteed price. I made an appointment, they took it right away and called me when it was done. They called later to make sure I got their message. I was pleased with the work.
