Innovative Cabinet Design

Because our kitchen is fairly small, I knew I wanted to make the most of every bit of space. So we decided to go with
custom cabinetry. The guys (Dion and Lonnie) with Innovative Cabinet Design, who did this work for us really listened to our
needs and used their skills to make every inch count. We chose frameless, European style maple wood cabinets with a honey colored stain on the doors. The hardware is unusual too and really compliments the design.
By building the cabinets to the ceiling, we gained a lot more space that can be used for items that aren't needed every
day.
 Beautiful lighted corner cabinets, with aged glass fronts, show off my prettiest pieces on top, but also hold all my dinner dishes and glassware on the lower two shelves.
At first we considered doing away with our kitchen bar and building more cabinets along that wall, but in reality, the bar
was a gathering place for friends and family when I was in the kitchen preparing food. I hate to be in the kitchen without company, so we increased the size of it and added pull out drawers underneath. They hold a lot of easily accessible appliances and beverages.
They redesigned our pantry and deepened it to enable us to store lots of baking sheets, casserole pans and plastic storage
containers. Plus two deep pull out shelves hold all my canned goods and baking ingredients. 
A handy drawer below the upper and lower pantry holds all my aluminum foil, plastic bags and wraps. Because it is directly
across from the kitchen bar, foods can be saved in this area, which this leaves the kitchen open for clean up after lunch or dinner gatherings. And no one goes home empty handed! 
The counters were topped off with a beautiful granite that my daughter helped me select. And it?s all highlighted
with adjustable under counter lighting which really shows off the granite.  
The whole remodel took about 2 months. There were times when I never thought it would be done, but we are so happy with the results! Our kitchen remodel added real value to our home and made it an even more wonderful place to come home to!
