John is very knowledgeable and he was able to identify the issue with the light sensors. The capacitor burned out while we testing the adjustment to the garage door sensors. He was able to repair in 5 minutes and get it back running. His prices are very reasonable and I will be using him to replace the old unit.

Terrific experience - after having one garage door spring break and nearly hit me. Kris set up the appointment and John was able to come out when I wanted. Arrived on time, explained what I needed (springs) and what was up to me (safety cables and new pulleys). Opted for everything, as the cost difference was small. John fixed everything in a brief amount of time, and now my garage door works like new. Price was much less than competitors that are on tv. Great dealing with these guys!

Just got off of angies list with a list of repair companies and Gold Standard was calling me up. From the time I got off angies list till the garage door was repaired was about 2.5 hours. I was amazed how quick the job was done. Very professional and courteous. I would use them again. He installed 2 new springs and new cables on the 2 car door. He also fixed the 1 car door that was having some problems.
