Very unprofessional!!! Do not waste your time with this company. The owner Robert Sicignano and his son Micheal obviously do not communicate with one another or any of their staff and thus creates being told 2 different stories. Not sure why they hired Claire recently. She spent 2 weeks getting a quote together for us after going back and forth only for them not to want to have us sign a contract after wasting our time and making commitments they were NEVER prepared to actually commit to!!!!! Sounded good the entire process thus far but that’s because it is with this company. Do not use them. Long story short…. They will not install your pool while your home is being built unlike most other pool companies even after speaking with our builder and he told them his timeline would not interfere with them. This has affected us in getting our funding for the project and causing increased rates for us. Very unprofessional!!!!!

My entire pool build was a nightmare. I am still fixing mistakes.

I chose to meet with this company b/c they are owned by Veterans and a neighbor had used them. Took an afternoon off of work/getting paid to meet with their representative. He showed up and spent about an hour making drawings, taking measurements. When he left he said he would have an estimate in a few days. 10 days later I asked for an update and was told it was in the works and available in few days. Waited another 7 days and still nothing so I had emailed the sales person to let them know i was no longer considering them. I also sent an email the website again laying out why I chose them, that I had lost money/time off work to meet with them and I was disappointed that they came out and essentially wasted my time. I was waiting for their estimate for 17 days which slowed down my process b/c I wanted their estimate before moving forward. I thought by contacting the salesperson and the company website I would have at least gotten a sorry we wasted your time response but nothing. There are lots of great pool companies in Tampa - dont let FLA Pools waste your time.

FLA Pools is an amazing company.  My experience began with Robert, the salesman. He was punctual, nice and informative.  He laid out all of my options and provided me with very specific details. Once I planned to have my pool refinished by Florida Pools, the awesome service continued.   Patrick, along with his crew, arrived exactly when they said they would and immediately got to work. One of the most impressive things during this whole experience was the courtesy and professionalism shown and the way Patrick went above and beyond when doing the work.  Patrick would call or text me about the progress of the job continuously. When they were not going to be able to work because of the weather, I was informed right away.  Throughout the job, all the workers took very good care of my property, kept everything very clean, and treated my pool as if it were their own.  After the regelling was complete, Patrick came out to add the chemicals to the pool and make sure everything was up to par.  They even had a pool cleaner come out and vacuum the surface and recheck the chemicals after a 24 hour settling in period. Patrick followed up another couple of days later just to make sure everything was to my expectations. I have to say Florida Pools went above and beyond anything I could have expected or hoped for when it came to the regelling of my pool. I highly recommend this company for any of your pool needs.

We are trying to get them to do the warranty work on all the stuff and fix all the stuff that they said they were supposed to do.  They should have done the job by finishing the project.  The whole project was mismanaged from start to finish.  The project should have been completed 5 to 6 months ago, but it is still ongoing.  It was a mismanaged communication between the ownership, what they said they were going to do and what we presumed that they were supposed to be done, but not done.  The project took way longer than expected.  They had to dig out the pool and reform the concrete.  It was not build according to the plan.  It was an array of different thing that made the project long ad it has been really frustrated.  There were broken promises that they couldn't fix the things that they said they would fix.  We were made aware by the previous customer that this would come up and it did.  It was not an old news.  Overall, the pool turned out to be good because of the sub-contractors and not the main contractor.  We were very satisfied with sub contractors.

TERRIBLE
This is January 2012 and we are still having problems. Our pool leaks, the rock we were talked into having around the pool cuts my grandchildren when they swim. It has a built up film on the rocks that we had had to have a pool company come out twice to drain the pool, sandblast the sides to keep the calcium deposit under control. This is a nightmare pool. I have spent several thousand dollars on repairs and it still does not work correctly.

Florida Pool showed up on time and did the work. I had no problems with them at all.

They are great and very responsive. We were not charged for the follow up visit.

They are doing a great job, and are reliable and fairly priced. The crew is great; they have good staff and subcontractors. They are very friendly and clean up after themselves. They do a good job and usually show up on time everyday. They had given us the estimate and told us when they would start the work. They are good, and I have already recommended them to others.
