Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Centers

How did it go? Wonderfully. After visiting two competitors, where the sales people had very poor product knowledge, we got the A-Team at Famous Tate. After telling the sales person "Ben" what we wanted, and what we had learned at the other two big box stores, Ben took us to the back part of the store, where they had several dishwashers disassembled to use as sales tools. Being gentle with us, he showed us where we had been told incorrect things at other places. I told him he earned our business, and much to our surprise, he did a price match to another business that had the identical item $100.00 less expensive. The install was done the next day by installers that were great. There were two small complications with the install, and they worked probably an additional hour working around those issues. We would give them A++++++++

We needed a new washer and dryer but had dimension issues from the start.  The dryer needed to stack on top of the washer but not be too tall for me to reach the dryer controls.  They also needed to be narrow enough to fit through the laundry room door and not too deep or they would block part of a window .  I was also looking for the largest capacity possible so I wouldn't be doing laundry constantly.  I also wanted machines with a good reputation for reliability.  After a great deal of research on-line and with Chris, I thought we would have to settle for a washer/dryer with a very small capacity.  However, Chris managed to find us a matching set that perfectly fit all our needs!   Right size, respected brand, good-size capacity.  He never gave up looking for us. 

To top it off  both pieces were "scratch and dent" so it was nearly half-price!!  I always check "scratch and dent" but I've never, ever found anything.  When Chris told us he had this washer & dryer he wanted us to see I tried not to get my hopes up.  I expected it to look like it fell off the back of a truck but when we saw it in the showroom there was only one tiny, superficial scratch!  Plus we still received the full warranty. Needless to say, we are delighted with the whole purchase. 

 

Vince provide me and GE with the copies of invoices and actually called the representative to help ensure that my rebate got processed even though it was really my ultimate responsibility to resubmit the rebate. Very helpful!

It seems every appliance in our kitchen has to fit into a non-standard space! We began looking for a refrigerator but decided to keep ours and replace the dishwasher and stove instead. Chris researched different brands and worked with us all the way. He made suggestions and addressed our concerns. In the end everything worked out perfectly and we are very pleased with both appliances. Excellent customer service!

I shopped around at Lowes and Sears and Famous Tate is a Tampa company that works very hard to provide the best price and best service. They delivered and installed all the appliances. They also delivered on their price and service promises. I liked the service people.

Chris went above and beyond to get us the best price possible for all three appliances that we purchased . He also held them at the warehouse for over 6 weeks while we waited for our new kitchen to be finalized . Chris had one appliance shipped to the store so that we could compare the finish , to coordinate our final purchase with the color of a like appliance in the store . Furthermore the delivery men were quite courteous and helpful in both the installation and instruction of the new appliances . The whole crew at Famous Tate in Brandon was very courteous and helpful every step of the way . I would highly recommend them to anyone . Very well . Chris kept us informed every step of the way during the buying and shipping process .
