The service I had performed was on time as stated. An issue came up during the tire installation and Matt immediately pointed it out and remedied the situation. Bob and Matt are refreshingly honest and up front. It's hard to say/find that in this line of work, but they really are just that. I will definitely go back to them again.

Dropped my daughter's Toyota Tacoma off to have Bob check the transmission. When I caled to check on it Bob Clarke told me it needed remanufactured transmission. That he didn't recommend rebuilding it because the transmissions today are just to complicated and they are just not rebuilt right. I told him I would call back with our decision. I called Bob back and told him my daughter would be up later to get the keys and we would be back later when she could get a ride to park it out front. Bob said ok. When my daughter got up there she walked in and Bob instantly became rude to her. Saying your Dad was supposed to call me. Your truck is still on the rack you're just have to wait among other things. When I got a text from my daughter telling me Bob was being rude to him. And that I was supposed to call him (which I just did an hour earlier). I called Bob and asked him why are you being rude to a twenty year old female and that I just called him an hour earlier, so why is the truck still on the rack? Bob's exact words. I got busy so she's have to wait, what's the problem?" The problem is Bob talking rudely to a female and asking the customer that cause you out on it "what's the problem?" Seem like Bob takes it very personal if you decide to take your vehicle else where and becomes verberally rude, as seen in other reviews. But hes shop seems to do good work if you do allow him to do the work.

Very well!!!!! My wife and I were told it was the transmission by 3 other mechanics and the cost would be $1,500 to $2,500 to fix. We took it to Clarke's Automotive Systems. They diagnosed the problem and found it to only be an axel problem and the total cost was $250 for all of the costs. We were thrilled with the result. They could have taken us for a lot of money based on what we communicated to the from previous mechanics. They did the oil change and fixed the axel for only $270. I felt they were completely honest and integrates in dealing with us. I HIGHLY RECOMEND ANYONE USING CLARK AUTOMATIVER SYSTEMS!!!! They are honest and fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mechanic found the issue to actually be the gasket on air intake manifold on the engine to be failing and a bad radiator. The other repairs were a coolant flush and power steering flush also. This was the reason I asked for a second opinion, I am glad I did as the first place was only partially correct and missed the core issue. Once into the repair to replace the gasket on the air intake manifold a lot of pitting was found and I got a call for them to authorize them repair the issue internally as it would cost more in labor to repair or replace when it failed. It took a little longer to finish because a replacement air intake manifold was not available so the original was repaired and the products used in the repair had to cure. I enjoyed meeting Bob and his family. His wife and son Matt work there also. Bob reminded me of my father by the way advised what needed repaired now and what could wait. He set up a long term plan for maintaining my 15 yr old truck to hopefully ge another 100 miles out of it. His wife even gave me a ride home when I dropped off the truck as part of a free shuttle service. The shop is a quality shop and I will be using them going forward to maintain both my vehicles.

Very responsive, very detailed. Almost to a fault, but others would appreciate it. Nice people. Pricing is OK...not cheap but not expensive....but the work is solid, which is what you want a mechanic.

I've been to Mr. Clarke's several times now. They are very professional and competent. This is a real diagnostic shop, they don't just read codes and blindly do what the computer tells them. They will spend time to explain things and give you options, more expensive options with better parts, or if you need to get out cheaper, they'll work with you. Good Christian family business.

No complants here. He even drove my little pick up for over an hour trying to create a intermittent problem with the clutch lockiing up. Could not get it to fail so no charge. That's an honest auto repairman. I thank them very much.

replace vehicle part. great communication and worked with us and was easy to deal with. Did use again for oil change and will continue to do there in the future for other vehicles maintenance as well.

In July we originally took it in because the A/C wasn't working. They saw that the Blower needed to be replaced. They did that, at a reasonable price and everything was fine for about a week. Then the blower stopped working. I took it back in and they looked at it, Mr Clarke arranged for a rental car and , in fact, they had it fixed within an hour! He did not charge us anything, as his work was warranted. Less than two months later we had the same problem. Mr Clarke told me that it was likely that there was another problem that was causing this to happen. They kept the car, examined it in detail and discovered that there was a faulty part that was still under warranty, and they were able to get to the root of the problem and get it fixed. He charged me only for the labor and a small unrelated part and the problem was resolved for less than $200. Through every step of it Mr Clarke kept us informed of what they were doing and seemed legitimately concerned that this get resolved to our satisfaction. We found Clarke Automotive on Angie's List, and are glad we did! We will (in fact already have) recommend them for quality work at a fair price.
