"This customer has a home warranty company. They pay a deductable and the home warranty has to approve any repairs. We were only working within the guidelines of his home warranty and what they would approve. The customer was given an estimate for the work the home warraty would not cover. He was under no obligation to have the non covered work done by our company. If he is not happy with the home warraty company he would need to address his concerns with them."
"WE SERVICED THIS CUSTOMER ON 8-22-07 THROUGH A HOME WARRANTY AND THEY REQUIRE ALL SYSTEMS THAT HAVE COVERAGE BE MAINTAINED AND INSTALLED PROPERLY. AFTER CAREFULLY REVIEWING OUR INVOICES, WE FOUND THAT THE CUSTOMER HAD A UNIT THAT WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED BY ANOTHER COMPANY. THE CUSTOMER'S HOME WARRANTY DENIED THE CLAIM DUE TO IMPROPER INSTALLATION. ORIGINAL COMPANY THAT INSTALLED EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE CONTACTED TO MAKE PROPER REPAIRS. WE, AS A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR THE HOME WARRANTY, REPORT OUR FINDINGS AND THEY DECIDE COVERAGE. THE HOME WARRANTY WILL OFFER A SECOND OPINION AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. WE ALSO SUPPLIED CUSTOMER WITH ESTIMATE TO REPAIR OUTSIDE HER HOME WARRANTY BUT SHE WAS UPSET THAT HER HOME WARRANTY DENIED HER CLAIM. HER HVAC SYSTEM WAS NOT REPAIRED PER HOME WARRANTY. ANGLER AIR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CLAIMS THAT ARE NOT COVERED OR DENIED BY HOME WARRANTIES. A HOME WARRANTY IS A TYPE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON YOUR HOME TO COVER REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENT OF HVAC, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND APPLIANCES. DIGITAL PHOTOS WERE TAKEN ON SITE AND IT IS VERY CLEAR ORIGINAL COMPANY DID NOT INSTALL TO STATE AND LOCAL CODES. ANY AND ALL HVAC CHANGE-OUTS REQUIRE A MECH. PERMIT AND A FINAL INSPECTION TO INSURE PROPER INSTALLATION. ALWAYS USE A LICENSED, BONDED, AND INSURED COMPANIES. IF A CUSTOMER IS UNSURE IF A PERMIT IS REQUIRED, CALL THE CITY OR COUNTY PERMITTING DEPARTMENT."
