I am very pleased with the entire team. A different contractor had previously removed an over-size fireplace that was in a bad location in our family room. This left a vertical recession in the wall that was one foot deep (see pics). Doug and his staff put significant time and effort into designing a media cabinet/bookcase using stock kitchen cabinets and hardware. The result looks like a custom piece of built-in cabinetry for our media wall that is awesome. The two-man installation team were friendly, worked diligently and appeared to be very serious about the quality of their work. The extra detail that Doug designed into the cabinets and bookcase actually looks like fine carpentry to many visitors we have had and we have received several compliments since its installation in 2014.

Our project was the complete remodel of a 30 year old kitchen that included the removal and replacement of flooring, cabinets, and countertops.. Because of the extent of the work we thought we would need a general contractor to do the work. We started looking for cabinet makers as our first contact. We stopped at Amorosa Cabinets in Brandon and explained to them what we wanted to do with our kitchen. After talking with Amanda we were assured that they had working relationships with granite fabricators and flooring companies and would coordinate all parts of project for us. After checking around with other companies with decided to go with Amorosa. The measure was done on a Monday and Amanda met with us on the following Monday to go over the plans. After looking over the drawings we met with Amanda and made a few changes and then ordered the cabinets.. While we waited on the cabinets Amanda made us an appointment to meet with the flooring and granite fabricators to pick out flooring and countertop . After we narrowed down our choices Amanda went with us to see the slab and also the flooring to help coordinate them and make them look good together. She helped us choose a flooring that would compliment our countertop choice.

After a 3 week wait on the cabinets they arrived and the tearout of old cabinets was set up . The cabinets were removed on Sunday. The flooring company came on Monday and removed the old flooring.Tuesday the floors were installed and grouted on Wednesday. The cabinets were installed on Thursday and the fabricator sent a man to make the template for the countertop on Friday. The following Wednesday we went to the fabricator to decide how to cut the stone. A. week later the countertop was installed. They had to comeback on Thuesday to finish a minor detail and seal the stone. The flooring company came the next day to measure for the backsplash. The backsplash was ordered on Friday and set up for install the following Friday. The installers came and installed the backsplash on Friday and came back on Saturday and grouted the seams.

All of this was coordinated with Amanda at Amoroso. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen and would recommend Amorosa Cabinets to anyone considering a similar project.

We did have a few issues where they showed up for the install and they were expecting us to get a granite piece installed in the middle of their work. That was not clearly communicated to us. Once we cleared that up the rest went fine. The quality of the work was good and they did a good job from the office in communicating to us. The new cabinets match perfectly and actually look better than the existing ones.

Do be patient as the project started in Sept. and final details were completed the first week of December. Kitchen was able to be used within a few weeks of the starting the project. Additional time needed was finishing and did not hinder the ability to use the kitchen,
Don't be afraid to point out something that you do not think is correct, they will make it correct.

Kathleen listened to our needs and designed a beautiful new kitchen for us. She was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with! We love our kitchen and the cabinets are beautiful! Remodeling a kitchen is a huge project, and Kathleen made the process so much easier.

Allen was responsive and patient with my choices and changes! Always followed through and did a wonderful job.

I hired another company to do this entire removal, and installation including new floors.

My interaction with him was good. It was definitely not in my budget, but he was professional. He did custom made beautiful cabinets and all that stuff and that was not in my budget for my 1940's home. He responded to my questions and he was very punctual. If I ever needed custom cabinets I would use him. I can't say anything negative about him; it was just not what I wanted.

Kathleen from Amoroso came out to give me a quote on refacing my cabinets. She did the measurements, went back to the office and called me up to tell me that they had a manufacturer which would make new maple cabinets for about the same price as refacing the current cabinets. I received two other quotes, and she was correct. In fact, one company quoted $10,000 just to reface the existing cabinets. I went to their showroom and choose the maple cabinets and color and placed the order. She has a nice computer rendering capability which was able to show me what the new cabinets would look like. The cabinets were delivered on time, her installers were outstanding, and things went about as well as one could expect a remodel to go. I used the other vendors she recommended, including plumbing, mirror, and granite companies. They all were good to work with and did a nice job. All things said, I had new kitchen and bathroom cabinets installed, including a new kitchen island with new granite, the existing bathroom and kitchen granite removed and reinstalled, the mirror taken down and reinstalled with a wood frame, and two visits from the plumber to cap off and reinstall the plumbing for about $10,000. I am very pleased with the result and would recommend Amoroso Cabinets to my friends.

They were excellent. We had a very unique design that we wanted. They worked with us in every possible way. Even when we told them that we wanted something very different, they did not say no. They worked with us and ended up with a wonderful job. They even had to build a cabinet on-site around a beam that went right through my kitchen and the guy just did a wonderful job. I would use their services again in the future. I regret that I did not use their services for a recent job and we had some issues. It was purely because of convenience I had another cabinet place closer to my house and I decided to give them a chance. It was a terrible experience. I should have gone back to Amoroso.

The project went very well. I was given a schedule and it was followed or I was informed of the new schedule and why it was changed. They removed all of the existing cabinetry, tile in living room and kitchen, and everything in the bathroom. Tile was removed and replaced with my choice of new tile. The cabinets were put in kitchen and bath, silestone counters were put in in kitchen and bathroom with new sinks, new garbage disposal and starter were put in, outlet and ice maker for refrigerator added to the garage. A few thing were changed - positioning of the dish washer, location of the microwave(in a cabinet) addition of a hood w/ embellishment over the stove, self closing drawers, new pantry front with shelves, added can lights, took out existing plant shelves which opened up the whole kitchen and installed pendant lights over the bar area with a dimmer. Hung new chandelier in the kitchen/dinning area. In bathroom - new cabinets, lighting, new tile in the commode area, and new tile in the shower, new shower doors, new jacuzzi tub to replace gaden tub, replaced existing commode, and all fixtures in sinks and shower, added a new cabinet with mirrors, new wood medicine cabinets to match the cabinets, mirrors were all framed-in to match the cabinetry, put in a new electrical outlet to accommodate TV in bathroom, installed a cable hookup, installed a ceiling fan with remote installed new towel fixtures. Overall, it went wonderfully and I an ecstatic with the results

Out of three companies we choose this one. My husband is a cabinet maker and he was confident and felt comfortable with this company. The work went pretty well and if we had a problem they took care of it immediately. They started the cabinet installation when they said they would and finished as they said.
