AMERICAN SIGNATURE FURNITURE

I had a terrible experience there. I will never go back. I tell everybody that I know not to buy furniture there. I bought some outdoor furniture and the cushions started to fade. The jerk of a manger told me, "if you bought your couch outside, it would fade too". I said that outdoor furniture didn't fade. I immediately had a bad distaste for him. He was giving me a very hard time. I went to the corporate office and had everything picked up and credited. I have had furniture that is 30 years old that is the same dark color from when I purchased it. He had no idea what he was talking about. The corporate office handled things very nicely, but it was too late. The price was decent, but it doesn't matter when your not getting the respect and any of the return problems taken care of.

Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else with your business. Trust me, its not worth it. I bought a couch from this place and paid for the warranty. I filed a claim and had it approved within two weeks, now its 4 months later and I'm still waiting. The warranty company, Uniters, says I need to call the furniture store. The furniture store sends me back to Uniters. I've left message after message with Uniters and no one EVER calls back. Only after I threatened a lawsuit does someone call, and then gives me an attitude, as if I'm bothering them by insisting they live up to their end of the warranty contract. This place and their warranty are a scam.

When my furniture as delived and set up the  movers scatch my hard wood floors.  I put in a claim but nothing was done about it.

The price, and quality of the patio set was excellent, however, the assembly was atrocious!  There were 24 nuts for the chairs missing, and it was an assembly nightmare.  They are coming back out, but I have to wait 2 weeks, for them to correct the problem.  I have purchased other things from American in the past, and have always been happy.  I'll never order anything again from American Signature that needs assembly.

I found out about them by driving by their store but they were just terrible. I am not happy with my purchase; the quality of the sofa is bad and there is something wrong with it. They won't fix it and like to argue about everything; my sofa was $2,600. I will not use them again in the future.

I will never buy another piece of furniture from American Signature and will never buy another furniture warranty period.  American Signature's furniture is cheaply made and for either the same amount of slightly more you can go to Ashley and/or Kanes furniture and get wonderful customer service and better made product.  American Signature does not deserve to stay in business.
