I had several custom window valances/curtains designed/made by Suzana and they are beautiful and are of the highest caliber workmanship. I would not hesitate to recommend Suzana, Accent on Windows, to anyone.

Her work is really beautiful. I think her prices are fair, you are paying for custom work. Her work is very detailed. She?s an expert in her field. She gets here on time and if there is a mistake she fixes it. I will continue to use her in the future, I wouldn?t use anybody else.

Glen arrived as scheduled and was utterly professional. He apologized for being unable to get the mechanism to work and indicated he'd have to order the part but would call once it came in. Within 2 weeks he called to apologize for how long it had taken but he had the part and wanted to know if I'd be home on Saturday 9/5 to install it. Since that was the Labor Day weekend, I was astonished that he'd come on a Saturday, let alone a holiday weekend. He asked how early he could come. When I said 8-8:30 AM he said that was great. He arrived on time and within just a few minutes replaced the piece. I asked how much I owed him and he said it was covered by Suzanne. It seemed unbelievable as I certainly expected to have to pay for a repair call. Considering that the shades were not new, I was completely astonished with the responsiveness of both Accent on Windows and the repair tech. Too often companies are willing to sell you something, but service is lacking, regardless of the product warranty. I would absolutely order from Suzanne again!

THEY WERE FLEXIBLE ABOUT TIMES TO VISIT OUR HOME AND SELL US THE BLINDS. AFTER THE SALE, THEY MISSED A SATURDAY INSTALLATION APPOINTMENT. AFTERWARDS, THEY SAID THEY COULD ONLY BE AVAILABLE WEEKDAYS FROM 9AM TO 5PM. I RUSHED HOME FROM WORK TO MEET THEM AND THEY WERE LATE, BUT THEY INSTALLED 2 OF THE 4 BLINDS. TWO OF THE BLINDS WERE NOT CUT CORRECTLY BY HUNTER DOUGLAS. MY NEXT CONTACT WAS FROM HUNTER DOUGLAS WHO WANTED TO DO A 'SERVICE CALL'. THEY COULD ONLY DO SERVICE CALLS FROM 10AM TO 3PM. WE WORK DAYS, SO WE HAD TO WAIT UNTIL THE NEXT HOLIDAY FOR THEM TO COME OUT AND FINISH OUR INSTALLATION. THIS WAS ONE MONTH AND 3 DAYS FROM THE FIRST INSTALL. SEVEN DAYS AFTER HUNTER DOUGLAS INSTALLED MY BLINDS, I GOT A CALL FROM THE ACCENT ON WINDOWS OWNER. HE SAID 'ARE THE BLINDS INSTALLED OK?'. 'YES' 'DID YOU GET MY INVOICE?' 'YES, THIS WEEK.' 'DO YOU WANT TO COME BY AND PAY IT?'. 'NO, I WORK, HOW ABOUT I MAIL IT TO YOU?' HE HUNG UP. NEED I SAY MORE?

"We normally do not install on weekends, although I did try to schedule for a Saturday installation, but I could not make it, therefore I called on Friday to apologize and ask them if we could reschedule. We did reschedule for the following Tuesday between 4:30 and 5:00 pm, Mr. Young advised that 5:00 or shortly after would be better, I arrived at 5:10 pm. Unfortunately Hunter Douglas the manufacturer of the blinds made two of the four blinds, 1/8" wider that the window therefore the two blinds had to be returned to Hunter Douglas. On 10/19/2004 a representative of Hunter Douglas, not Accent on Windows, called the Youngs and they scheduled to install the blinds in 10/25. Mr. Young called Hunter Douglas directly and cancelled this appointment, rescheduling for 11/11, to install when Mrs. Young has her next day off. This appointment was being done by Hunter Douglas directly; not us.I waited one week before calling for payment,. I apologize that Mr. Young thought I had hung up and didn't"
