He was supposed to grind out the stumps but, he wants to replace them. I decided to wait until he can do it all at once. We decided against replacing the trees and he has not let me pay him yet. Angie’s List has paid him. It has been delayed, I am trying to get a hold of him. He is half way through the job. He cleaned up and I was very pleased with the job he did. He is really busy. I live in a community where everything has to be approved. I have told him that I just want to have the stumps ground up. He did miss an appointment. I have been pleased with his work.

I  decided to go with Casey's Tree Service because his price was competitive and he included in his price the removal of all stump debris and sodding. Some of the other companies I had received estimates from would not remove the stump debris for you or include sodding. I am satisfied with the job that they performed. The crew was very hard-working, professional and did a wonderful job. My only criticism has to do with timeliness and communication.
Originally, I was told by Casey it would be a day job for his company because he had a crane, and that he they would complete the whole thing in one day. I was getting estimates to have the work done in July because I had a party on June 28 and did not want to be in the middle work in my front yard for the party.  Casey assured me that they could get it all done before the party and would be there in the morning of Thurs.June 19.  
When no one arrived, on June 19, I called mid-morning and was told they had just picked up the permit and would be there Friday morning because they preferred to get an early start. The crew arrived Friday June 20th in the morning and worked all day very hard taking the tree down until about 6 pm. They preformed the tree removal job very well. The crew was very polite, friendly and professional. For some reason they decided against using the crane as Casey had promised. There seemed to be a disagreement among one of the crew and Casey as to which was the best way to go. By the end of the day, they had finished taking down the tree, removed all debris, started but not completed the stump grinding. One of the workmen told me that they would be back the next day.
Again when no one had arrived, I called Casey at noon Saturday June 21, and he indicated that they were cleaning his shop and could not be there that day. He added that the sod was not yet cut, and would not come until Tuesday or Wednesday because he had a big sod job to do before he did my sod. I reminded him that I needed to get the job done by Saturday June 28. No one came Tuesday or Wednesday. In the late afternoon of Thursday, one of the crew came to continue the stump grinding. He left a pile of of saw dust in the front yard. Unfortunately, what I wanted to avoid, happened. I had a partially completed project in my front yard for my daughter's birthday party on June 28.
The crew came back on Monday June 30 to continue the stump grinding and remove debris. Finally on Wed. July 3 they sodded and completed the job.
I am very satisfied with the quality of the job performed, and the hard work of the crew. They did all that they agreed to do. My only problem was with timeliness and communication. I don't know if it's a problem of organization or too much work. 

Casey's guys are top-notch!  They gave me a daily rate, reasonable due to their schedule.  Very hard working, they barely ate lunch and jumped right back to work.  They took care of very overgrown long driveway, chipped up the wood for mulch and removed debris.  Very accommodating and worked with me to reduce disposal costs, considerate of my budget.  I will highly recommend them to others.

He's a very friendly guy with a nice crew, but he's busy and a bit disorganized in responding.   Overall, he was very nice but in my follow up conversation, he forgot what we had discussed about replacing the tree in my front yard.  I would simply be very clear what I expected if I worked with him again.   I know lots of good folks in business who simply over-schedule themselves and then don't follow up well.
The work his crew did was fine and done quickly, as well, in part because I accommodated his request to do the work when it fit his schedule...he had his equipment/crew on my street for another job.

Overall, the experience was top notch!  There was a delay in providing the service due to absences that the provider couldn't anticipate, but, once the service was performed it was timely and flawless.  I would definitely recommend Casey's Tree Service to others.

I bought a coupon for the job.  Casey contacted me, we discussed the work and agreed to the price, date and time.  I'm amazed at how quickly and well he did the job.  Just what I wanted done and done right.  Awesome job.  I will surely be using his services in the future.  Thanks so much....

About a year about I had another company remove two trees and grind the stumps.  That company left several roots and did not do a good job.  I had Casey come out to view the stump that was growing back.  He sent someone over later the same afternoon.  The worker was very professional and did a great job.  He cleaned up all of the debris from the removal and even ground some of the roots left over from the second tree I had removed in my back yard.  I would use Casey's tree service again and wish I had done so the first time I had trees removed on my property.  They do a great job!

It went well.  He did exactly as I asked him.  He knows what he's doing and he's a nice guy.

The response was quick, the price was right and the work was finished just as it should have been. Not much more you can ask from any company. Highly recommended.

We had two palm trees over 25 ft tall close to our house (and neighbors)...we wanted these trees gone, however, we were worried that these trees would cause damage to the houses when they would be cut down. We found Casey on the web, saw that they actually utilized a crane to control the palm tree at the time of cutting. We called and the owner of the company came over the same day, explained the process to us and gave us a written estimate...we felt that it was a fair price for the removal of the palms. We hired them, they came the next day, Casey (the owner) was there working with his crew...the trees came down, they removed the palms, and the stumps and cleaned up after themselves...everything Casey promised was delivered. The crew was very nice and so very polite. We were thrilled to have the trees gone, and all the worries we had proved unfounded. We would and have recommended Casey's tree service...they get a 100% as far as we are concern.

They were very good.  They charged me $125 to come out.  It was going to be $150 because they don’t travel for any less than that.  But when the guy got here and did the job they said $125 and I gave them a $5 tip and that made it $130.  They were stump grinding pepper trees which are a nuisance in Florida.   They were here on time.  They called me ahead of time and let me know when they were coming.  They actually arrived a little bit early.  So they were very prompt.  He went out and looked at the job and got busy and did it.  He cleaned up, cleaned up the stumps, spread out the dirt over the area that he ground them and everything.  He was very meticulous I think, in cleaning up after himself.  He was very congenial and I have nothing negative to say about them.  Price wise I have not compared them.  I found them on the Yellow Pages and they had a good review.   I just took them because I wanted somebody that was rapid.  I did not shop around as far as price is concerned.
