All work was well done

Work was completed and seemed to be fine. Two years later Jan 2025 I had my neighbor blow leaves off the roof. He told me that the flat section of roof 25' x 12' looked bad. I had Roofing Co. inspect the roof. He informed me that there was cracking, no transitional metal from flat to pitched roof, that has caused major cracking. He advised me that that the flat roof needs to be redone.

after a heavy storm the soffit flew out the facia was falling .The roof looked had holes where the soffit blew away then after two hurricanes it looked really bad .The field man Jaun lied to me telling me he would put a lien on it I TOLD HIM i WILL CALL MY LAWYER.HAD ANOTHER ROOFER WHO DID NEXT DOOR HE SAID MINE LOOKED OLD FACCIA and Soffit told to buy steel wool to fill the small holes keep critters out .

The workers were pleasant. The job was done in sections. When I asked about installing the roof vent no one wanted to help although few worker came by but did not know how to do it. They bought the garbage dumpsters to the house. They remove all our roof from the house. However, they took weeks to remove the dumpster, but the cleanup went well. The day they were putting on the asphalt rain fell, and water came through the kitchen and dining room. My husband told them about the issue with the water damage. They handle the problem by fixing the ceiling in the rooms. When they install the metal roof, they cover one of the toilet vents and they didn t install the ridge vent which caused a major problem with my air conditioner. We bought that up with the project manager and staff in the office. They sent boxes of the ridge vent but no one installed it. They did fix the toilet valve but it was not painted to match the roof. They eventually painted the vent. We made numerous calls to them about putting on The ridge vent that was there. No one address the problem. We still don t have a proper ventilation in the roof and it s still having problems.

Had our roof replaced in October 2021. Work took about four days to complete. There was a leak that was addressed and seemed to be fixed at the time. It appears that the roof may be leaking again in the same area causing water damage to our garage ceiling.

After Hurricane Ian I hired Angi Roofing to replace my roof which was irreparably damaged in the storm. They did a total roof replacement. Since the work was done they had to come out 3 separate times to fix leaks. I now, currently, have an active leak that needs to be fixed. I tried to call Angi roofing directly but they do not respond to calls (I have called 9 times), voicemails (I have left 4 Voicemails) or E-mails (I have send 3 e-mails).

Roof was put on and has had leaks that they came out to fix but it still leaks, they did not do a great job fixing it and now have damage in house. Now nobody answers phone and can not get them to fix. What good is warranty if do not answer

The job was a horror show from the beginning, the first thing they did was cover our dryer vent after stripping the roof and we almost had a fire at the house because they covered our dryer vent with the roofing and never told us. They did not know the dryer vent was there but they should have remembered when they tore off the roof. Then they sent people over to do the roof, none of them spoke English, I could not talk to anybody. Workers as young as 14 years old, unacceptable as far as I am concerned. After they did the roof, they left and we discovered a leak, all they did was come with 5 gal of tar and a tube of caulk. They also damaged our ceilings, when they were replacing plywood ,they stepped down on the ceiling and the sheetrock is hanging down. They came here to fix the issues and all they did was caulk the problem instead of changing what they damaged. Their way to fix things was with 5 gals of tar and a tube of caulk. And to me, when you are paying $21,000 for a roof that is not the way things should be fixed. They are not answering my phone calls . They say they have a lot of work here and they do not want to come back . Finally after getting in touch with Angi , the company which recommended them to us via The internet, the repair process started. If it were not for Angi ,I do not think anything would have been done. Almost a year later they fixed the roof However the damage to our interior was terrible. Mold and damaged Sheetrock, and damaged cabinets due to the leak. THR sent over inferior workers , to do finish work in my house. Iâ  ve been a finish carpenter most of my life and can recognize incompetent workers. These people shouldnâ  t even be installing roofs let alone do finish work inside a house. After dealing with these workers for months, without completing what needed to be done, I finally took it upon myself to finish the job, and spent thousands of dollars out of pocket. I tried to get some of it back from them , only to be rejected by THR .Angi suggested that I take them to mediation to recover some of the money, However after a year and a half, of total agrivation My wife and I decided to chalk it up to a buyer beware situation . Total Home Roofing is a terrible company, they should not be in business, I hope people get to read this review before making a decision to hire them. Iâ  m submitting this review to save other possible buyers from making the same mistake we made.

This is the absolute worst company that I have ever dealt with. I will not do business with them again. Communication is a foreign word to them. They expect payment before the job is done and if they do not get it they turn you over to collections. So much for getting the job done. I can say with some certainty, they sub out most of the work and no one has a clue what is going on, by who and when. There is a 30 minute job with the gutters that I do not think they can find a sub to do.

They were prompt in a quote and getting the job done.

Greg Luebbe gave me a thorough inspection and we determined that a repair would be best since my roof is not that old. I expect in 3 to 5 years I will have Total Home Roofing install a new roof. Greg's product knowledge and presentation left no doubt in my mind that he is the only person I will call in the future for my roofing needs.

Everyone we dealt with was responsive, quick and good. We were kept informed every step of the way. They started at 6:30 a.m and finished at 6:30 p.m. of the same day! I didn't know that was even possible, but they utilized Manatee County's ability to have an inspector review online! Genius! When we called with a very small issue two days after the job was finished, someone showed up within 24 hours. When the supervisor came by to review the fix, we were happy, but he was unhappy and another crewed showed up that afternoon and fixed the small problem completely. I could not recommend this company more highly. Customer service is a 6! I hope never to need a new roof, but would recommend these folks to anyone...and already have!

Very poor customer service, promises were not kept. Very difficult to get a hold of anybody when the project was being done.

Sarasota County inspectors require a worker to be at the site for the inspection. Total Home Roofing to comply with this as every other roofer comply. Because of this we have fail inspection for the second time. Therefore no work has been on our roof in over three weeks. Total Home Roofing is a third rate company, their worker left garbage all over my property. When I attempted to do some clean up I got two nails in my right foot. Had to go to the Dr . As I am a diabetic, now I have an infection. I am a 76 year old disable vietnam vet being treated very poorly by your company. Now going forward as of now. Going to see if Sarasota will pull their license to work in the county. Have made complaints with BBB and the County.

DO NOT EVER HIRE THIS COMPANY IN MY OPINION!!!! NO!! NO!! NO!! They have no customer service to speak of. They will damage your house, and they will tell you they will fix it, but they wont. Because they will lien your house for the balance!! They do not care. They will not tell you that they are placing a lien on your house either. When you pay 3/4 of the balance and hold back $5,000 because they have damaged sheetrock in multiple rooms, the garage door, soffits, and driveway, and they call for the balance you explain how you keep calling about the damage. The A/R dept. states sorry about that. Then you get a lien!!! Not repairs!!! Then they deny the damage!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY. The job took way too long because they ordered fewer materials than they needed, the roof leaked while they were doing it because they did not tarp it, left nails everywhere so that 2 guests had to go to urgent care for Tetnus shots....etc. And now I have a lien, still have damage, and they deny it!!! Looks like I am going to court too.

I wish I could post photos as they are worth a thousand words. The best way to describe this company is bait and switch . Their printed estimates sheets do not match the contract. There is a reason they do not paint to match. All the shingles match but all the roofing materials does not match the shingles. Shingles lay down o to of trash that is coming out from under shingles. Shingles installed with part of the shingle raised up in a wave shape. The inspector said those shingles will blow off I. High winds. Loose or missing screws when they were putting the rain gutters back into place. Absolutely zero customer service on addressing any of the above issues. Was told all the workers or roofers are company employees implying they do not sub out their work and they control their quality or work by who they hire. The only company employees on my job was on the first day and the year off team, after that it was sub contractors none of which could speak enough English to communicate in any meaningful way. I love the color off the shingles aged copper which is about the only good thing I can say about this job and total home roof had nothing to do with the color of the shingles. If you go with total home roof do your research may sure the estimate matches the contact document, hand write in all visible roofing material must match in color and texture of the shingles. Hand write in that no subcontractors will preform any portion of the job or project. And the work leader will be fluent in the same language as you are and that he is at the job site anytime the workers are. If not you will get one person that shows up to collect the payment after the work is done. He did write a punch list of items to be corrected that has not been addressed a month later. I guess that need to.be added to the contract that no payments are due until all punch list items are addressed. I would not recommend this company and can not believe that are part of Angiâ  s I thought that Angi screen the contractors to prevent these type off experiences. Also check the better business bureau for more reviews. Nothing over a 1 star in that last two months.

We are in to week 3 and still not done. They need to complete the flat part of the roof which started leaking thru to the lanai ceiling from accumulated condensation. That was a week ago. They came and put down tarp 3 days later because of impending rain. But the flat roof leaked again. No replies/call backs for 3 days. No idea their plan or return status. Started 2 days later than scheduled, on a Friday, which pushed the inspection to the following week. I had to call the crew(s) supervisor, who has never been to our house, to let him know the inspector had come, Tuesday. The supervisor wanted me to let him know, instead of him checking with the office or inspector, what the inspection paper stated. FAILED DUE TO IMPROPER NAIL SPACING ON SHINGLES that had been installed, which was 3 areas about 1/10th of roof. Crew came Wednesday morning and spent 1/2 hour supposedly fixed the spacing. Inspector called Thursday morning after re-inspection and still Failed. Was told by supervisor crew would be back around 1:30 Thursday but was no show, no call. Have not heard anything since then, although we are calling and texting every hour. Communication has been horrendous. Left voicemails for sales person, dispatch person over several days with no response. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

They were on time and did a great job. The weather was moving in, so the crew busted out and finished the job just as a light rain fell. My only issue was the price, but what are you going to do with so many needs out there?

I, too, had to pay for extra plywood. But, after a couple of glitches (went to another job for 2 days) they finished the roof and it looks fabulous.
