Bad. Customer asked contractor for contract before and during the course of project. Contractor refused to produce one. Customer did not receive written contract prior or during renovation from contractor. Customer did not sign a written contract for project with contractor. Contractor did not review any contract with customer for project. Customer did not approve for final cost of project. Contractor services and materials were grossly overpriced. Complaint on contractor reported to Bradenton Police, Bradenton Chamber of Commerce and Better Business Bureau.
Description of Work: Tile and stone work. For a terrace project.

This comes as a shock after working at this customers house for more than 6 months total. We did close to perfect work and delivered amazing results. This customer was more than happy with us and the results we delivered. We remodeled both bathrooms to a level Liberace would find pleasing and then proceeded to transform his backyard to one of the most beautiful hardscape in Bradenton. All out of hand cut flat stone imported from Tennessee! At the end of our project we were told his people said he could not spend anymore money on his project. We were told to stop working and [removed member name]refused to pay for the work that had been done. We filed a lien and after almost a year we submitted it to a attorney. Then in response [removed member name] has tried to smear our name where ever he may. The work done in his home can be seen on our website and is worthy of being published or featured in any home publication. We have 25 years experience in working in the finest homes of Florida and Mr Akley is the first person in all that time to percieve us and our work in this questionable light. We are sorry [removed member name] is not a happy camper but wish him the best Skip Shipley
