First technician did not know how to turn the cooktop on totally incompetent.  Had to call out another tech, a week later the second tech comes and instantly diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts.  The cooktop was 14 months old and was a Kenmore.  The parts went backorder and 6 weeks later they were still not record.  During this entire time we never rec'd a phone call, email or any communication from Sears as to the status of the parts and by the way the cooktop was inoperable so we had not stove for more than six weeks.  We finally called Sears and were told they did not have any idea what was going on with the parts and someone fro Sears Solutions would call and provide alternatives.  No one ever called so we went to the store at Citrus Park, the were extremely helpful and finally were successful in having Sears Solutions communicate with us.  Solutions had absolutely no estimate as to when the parts would be available.  Their alternative was to gives us back our money ( after having it for 8 weeks now) or we could continue to wait.   Please understand the vendor produces these cooktops for Sears under the Kenmore name Sears was unable to explain how they had no leverage with this company.
Solutions absolutely refused to consider replacing the cooktop or providing a temporary unit and were completely nasty and really did not give a d*** about us not having a stove to cook.
I see now why they are on the brink of bankruptcy and look forward to their complete collapse.
I would highly recommend you try the other highly regarded and reliable appliance repair companies prior to trying Sears!!!!!!

The price was reasonable, we were seen immediately, and they were honest and concerned about doing the job right.
