Lee required a $5000 retainer which I paid knowing I could potentially be spending several times that. He promised on several occasions to send me fabric swatches, sketches and photos of items I may have been interested in. I never received them. Assuming he was probably busy on bigger projects, I terminated our relationship hoping we could part friends. Instead of apologizing and offering to make it right, he was abrupt and indignant and made me feel as though I did something wrong. When I asked for the final bill, I was charged $849 for the mirror he originally told me was around $400 and for 11 hours of his time. In addition, while hanging the mirror they scratched the wall and touched it up with paint that did not match and I had to repaint it later. The bottom line is that he over promised and under delivered. I was surprised and disappointed with his lack of customer service.
