As new owners of a home with an existing pool, we chose to continue with the pool service (Pinch A Penny) used by the previous owners.  As we became familiar with our equipment and the level of service provided, we began to question the amount of time being spent servicing our pool -- sometimes less than 10 minutes -- and the concentration level of chlorine being routinely added.  Our grandson complained of severe eye irritation and ultimately refused to swim in the pool at all.
We contacted Pinch A Penney with our concerns and -- not entirely satisfied with the response -- sought quotes from other pool services in the area.  Upon testing, we were told that the chlorine levels in our pool were twice the level needed.  We did switch to another service with which we are extremely satisfied...and our grandson now loves the pool.

It is very hard to find pool guys; they are really good.  Their services are excellent.  They also do repairs and do a pretty good job if there is a leak.  They do the job that they say they will; they are reliable and come when they are supposed to.  A lot of the pool people are just single people but Scott acts as a back up to his people, if they can’t come, he comes himself and does the job.  I do not get any deals but they are cheap.
