Bait and Switchers. DO NOT RELY ON AN ON AN QUOTE FOR JOB THEY HAVEN"T SEEN! IN PERSON. I gave three electricians very explicit information to bid a job. Offered New Dawn opportunity to come make in person quote but they said they didn't need to. Two of three were very close but I picked New Dawn based on these reviews. I paid a $500 deposit and waited several weeks for the service and paid for someone ($200) to be at my house to meet them this morning. Technicians showed up and said they didn't have what was required to do project and "project was out of scope of quote because it required conduit". They were told up front verbally and in text exchanges conduit was required. In fact the text said "Conduit Obviously!". Spoke to Kelly who was one of the owners who confirmed she researched and saw the text exchange and notes but said the person who gave the quote had made an incorrect assumption and that they would not honor the quote and they would have to give me a new quote. When I challenged that (nicely) she hung up on me. Typical Florida scammers.

Responsive when called to request a quote and did not charge to come out to scope out project; quote was competitive and work was scheduled promptly. Everything from the initial call to confirming the work date to having the work performed was seamless, professional and efficient. J. and David did an outstanding job for us. They were timely and efficient. They knew what needed to be done and they began working diligently and professionally until the project was completed. We appreciated the tidy clean-up after the job was done. If we have any more electrical issues in the future, we will definitely call them.

Allen Quickel of New Dawn Electric went above and beyond for me and my stressed out family! We had been having battery chirping issues with a smoke detector, however we could not pinpoint which one it was. After speaking with Allen in person, we decided to swap out our old (only 2 years old) ones for a set of 10-year, hardwired with lithium battery backup detectors, and that seemed to solve the chirping issue...until 2 days post-install: more chirping! Allen worked with us to determine whether it was one of the new detectors (potential old battery). He came back to our house immediately, during dinnertime, a total saint! Together he and I found an old carbon monoxide detector at the top of an open moving box, and that was the culprit. Had he not come back to our house, sure, we would have discovered the source eventually, but it would have taken much longer, and caused far more frustration than it already had. We are so grateful for Allen's help and we plan on contacting New Dawn Electric if we need help again. Oh, he also installed a ceiling fan part that took him no time, and our fan is now working once again.

The initial price estimate visit was on time, and the subsequent quote was provided in a couple of days to me via email. After a couple of other quotes were recieved, we decided to select New Dawn based on their excellent pricing. We agreed upon a day and time for the install, and on the day agreed upon, Allen came slightly early to begin work. The first thing he did was prepare for the cleanup by putting down vis queen to catch any dirt or debris. Allen proceeded to methodically go step by step through the job, and he even checked out my electrical panel to ensure all lug nuts were tightened and the panel was secure. Everything of picked up and the job looked great! I paid by check and recieved an electronic receipt from Kelly immediately. My wife is happy and so am I. Good job New Dawn!

Excellent! Allan Quickel responded immediately to our search on Angie’s List and even came out to provide an estimate within an hour. Based on his other reviews and his expeditious estimate (we received in about 12 hours), we hired him to perform the needed work. He scheduled the work within 4 days and was efficient, professional, informative, very polite, and a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend New Dawn Electric!

Excellent! Would hire again. price very reasonable. Clean up, approach, very professional. Was contacted by Allen on Sunday, they were out to start work Sunday afternoon, regular rates. Exactly the worked needed to be done, no overselling. My go-to for electrical work in the future. With labor, materials $600.00

Great job, on time and a fair price. I had installed new 2 and 4 ways switches in my upstairs hallway. I purchased them at Home Depot and found out that the switches were swapped for other non 2/4 way switches. No matter what I would have tried it would not have worked. Apparently it is common for people to go in and open the box and place a single pole or other switch into a more expensive box. Do yourself a favor and hire New Dawn Electric or buy a bulk pack of these switches that are sealed. It cost me about 4 hours of my time and was very frustrating to learn the truth.

My service was done at the appointed time in a professional manner. I live in older construction and the New Dawn electrician has lots of experience. He was quickly able to diagnose and fix the problem I encountered when I tried to do the job myself and replace my outlets. He did have to make a trip to purchase additional supplies which made the job a little longer but I was happy and satisfied with my experience.

Bought a $179 for 2 hours of electrical work deal. Alan was polite, prompt, professional and efficient. We have 2 bedrooms that never had ceiling lights, Alan put them in and installed new switches for them. He also replaced our old hardwire smoke alarms with new interconnected ones, and was able to secure our dining room light to the ceiling, it was loose. He got all that done in 2hours, and only charged $13 extra for parts he used. He cleaned everything up perfectly when he was done.
