Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you. I am new to Bradenton and moved into my mother's home after she passed away. She always used Mobile Air when Roger Craton owned it and she got great service and fair prices. But not anymore. I had a capacitor (see pictures) go bad. Mobile Air charged me $286.00 for a $10.12 direct replacement part. They also charged $165.50 for diagnosis and service call. Other local companies such as Veteran Air charge under $100 for the same service. I gave Mobile Air a chance to respond to my concern and they told me that they provide professional services and they have overhead. However, they hide their overhead through exorbitant price and service pricing. This makes it easier to charge people whose backs are against the wall because their A/C isn't working and it's hot outside. They also told me their prices are comparable to other A/C service firms in the area. That isn't true either. I pointed that out and got a curt reply from the office manager. I got fooled expecting Mobile Air was the same company it was a few years ago. It clearly is not. Don't let the high rating fool you.

We have had Mobile Air do our preventative maintenance checks for 3 years and have found them to be an excellent company. They're rates are very reasonable, they've been very accommodating, they're always on time, workers are professional and very knowledgeable.

We had a cold winter and they put other things aside and put me at the top of the list.

Everything went smoothly from start to finish, no hitches.
