Description of Work: Came to the house to discuss projects. Tried to talk me out of two--removing old clothesline/posts and building a carport storage shed. Told me to call an electrician to replace utility lights in garage (no wiring involved, just needed to hang new lights by chains and plugged into outlets). Also wanted work done on front porch ceiling--covering tops of posts and he advised not to do. He said they could do the patching where wall outlets in house had been moved.

+ 4 moreVinnie shows up when he said he will. does the job quickly and efficiently. They do expert carpentry, when painting the exterior they sealed every board and crack. everything was done to perfection.
Description of Work: I have been using Manzella Home improvement at my home for many years. They have recently installed a new fiberglass hurricane front door (looks like real wood). I have used them to: replace the brick pool deck, redo the guest bathroom, repair the master bathroom shower wall and tile, tile other bathroom floors, paint the exterior of house, install new sophist (sp), interior painting, rebuild front trellis (arbor), repair wood floor, find leak in aluminum roof so it could be repaired, and many more jobs. Many of my neighbors also use Vinnie Manzella as well. he is a bit pricy but his work is exceptional - a real artisan. Recently our neighborhood handyman retired and our association has use this company to paint fences, repair and paint our pool storage area with hardy board and install new fiberglass doors, repair locks, and do other jobs that are just too much for the homeowner's volunteers to handle (59 homes).

+ -1 moreHe was very nice, very prompt and very good. His price was very reasonable; not much higher than what the other people quoted. We did not use this company because we got a better price from a referral. We will probably not use them in the future.
Description of Work: Manzella & Sons Home Improvements gave us a quote for exterior painting in August last year.

Description of Work: Did complete new make-over in bathroom to include tub with shower, sink, walls, tile flooring and tile walls in shower. The new walls had added texture where there is no tile. All wall bars, rings, medicine cabinet and moving of electrical sockets completed. Also new light fixture and wall cabinets installed. The ceiling was also redone with a beautiful pattern. Extremely professional. My bathroom can now be in a magazine. It is so beautiful! I would use them again if I had ANY room to re-model!!

+ 0 moreVinnie Manzella, Michael's father (founder of their company), arrived within our time frame, to give us an estimate. He then asked Michael, to look at it, since we had a specific design in mind and didn't have a picture to show them. Michael arrived on time for that appointment. We described a specific design we had seen several years ago and Michael sketched it out for our approval, before starting. He was very tidy and meticulous, throughout the entire job. He kept the dust level to a minimum, while removing our old tiles. He continually cleaned behind himself, as he worked. When he left, everything was absolutely spotless. We were ready to use our kitchen immediately. He was also, very punctual each working day. We were very happy with his work and very impressed with how neat and clean he was. This is a fine young man. We were so impressed, we hired them for more work, as we are piece-mealing our improvements, as we can afford them.
Description of Work: Michael Manzella re-tiled our kitchen backsplash. He found a small water-damaged area around the sink and brought it to our attention. He repaired the area with greenboard drywall, before continuing. He removed all the original tile and replaced with a stunning new backsplash. And, of course, he grouted everything.

Description of Work: We've used Vincent Manzella and his sons (Michael and Tony) for many jobs. Most recently they installed both tile and bamboo floors and painted several rooms.
