The work itself was done fine.  My beef with Manson was that for the same amount of labor (less than one hour in both cases) and about $20.00 more in materials for the August repair, the bill was more than double than for the January repair.  I called Manson and talked with Stu asking why the charge was so much more.  He said he'd research it, check the GPS on the truck, and get back with me.  He did.  The owner took $75 off the bill.  Even with this adjustment, the charge was still twice the previous charge.  I sent in payment, along with a letter to owner, Bruce Manson, detailing the charges and asking why the prices had gone up so much.  I got one phone call from Mr. Manson, and he said he would look into it and get back with me.  He never got back with me either in writing or by phone.

They did a really good job, but the only problem I had with them was that I was out of the country.  I went to great lengths to let them know that it was rental property and I wanted them to let the rental company and the renters know when they were coming out and to just consider mine and my renters interests.  They agreed to do all of these things, but when I got back into the country and found out that they did not do these things, I asked them why they did not honor their word and they said they normally did not contact people to let them know when they are coming out.  They were not concerned about the renters or the management company that was keeping an eye on the property for me.

We have used Manson Roofing for years and had Manson Roofing install a new roof in the fall of 2005. No one has been on our roof but Manson in 17 years. The last two leaks were promptly attended to but the price was outrageous. The latest, Two people showed up, one spoke no english and the other barely spoke english were here less than one hour and the bill came to $597.34. To add to this, the invoice stated "This work is an attempt to remedy the leak problem and carries no warranty. If our initial repair does not correct the problem, an extended Scope of Work will be estimated and'or performed at an additional cost. Interior mediation is Owner's responsibility." $597.57 for less than one hours work with no warranty. You have got to be kidding.

Outstanding! I'm on a condo board for a 20+ unit building and needed to deal with on on-going roof leaking problem. I worked closely with them in identifying the source of the problem which was not what I would call a standard roof leaking problem. Curtis was the main on-site person, and he did an outstanding job. He has decades of experience, educated me about all aspects of the problem and project, and was creative in resolving our long standing problem. There were 3 separate but related problems that were repaired…entrance of water through the mansard cap which had been inappropriately foamed over, holes inside the mansard portion, and a collection of water under the roof floor that entered through the holes in the cap.
A former roofing contractor put a new foam roof on only 7 years earlier. The job was terrible and neither the product manufacturer or the roofing contractor would resolve the problem and disavowed any responsibility. Manson had a bad roof job to work with and was able to identify the problem, clearly head off add'l problems, and buy us a lot more time to do a complete roof replacement of the 7 year roof we have in place.

They were the best price quoted and did a wonderful job. On time, professional and polite. I had it inspected after they completed the job and the inspector said they did a great job. Would definitely use them again if I need another roof or work done on one.

They are willing to work with you on repairs. This company is honest and will only sell what you need.

I spent about $5600 on that service. I thought that they did a standard job and it was not done as well as I would have liked, but it was adequate. I would not recommend them to others, but would recommend they use someone else.

We saw a dark spot on our ceiling, they came and fixed the leak. Another time we saw mold on the outside corners of the house, they came and did a great job remaking the corners, enabling us to avoid buying a whole new roof. Eventually, we will need a new roof. We will hire them to do it.
