Do not hire this company.  We received four quotes for a new roof, they gave us the best price, but it was the biggest mistake of my life hiring them.  This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.  Their workmanship is unsatisfactory, and their customer service is horrible!!!  They have caused my husband and I a great deal of frustration and aggravation. 

We had a leak in our roof, and we decided to replace the entire roof, rather than just repair the area that leaked.  They replaced our roof on April 21, 2014, and to date, we've had nothing but problems.  In the past three months, every time it rained, the new roof leaked.  They knew from my repeated phone calls, and messages that I left them, that our new roof was still leaking, and how upset I was, and it usually took them four or five days to return my phone calls.  They came back four times, and every time they came back, they told us the problem was fixed, but it never was. 

In May, I sent them a letter stating that as they failed to fix the problem, I wanted a partial refund, and/or I would hire another roofer to make the necessary repairs, and send them the bill.  They told me that it was not their policy to issue any type of refund -- their work was warrantied for three years, and they would just keep coming back until they got it right.  All my requests to meet with the owner, Randy Cook,  were ignored or denied, until today, July 31, when I demanded that he come, or else I would contact my attorney.  He finally showed up, today, but he acted like he didn't know why he was here.

Today, after all the previous patching and sealing they did, they finally removed and replaced the shingles in the area where it was leaking.  I sincerely hope this is the end of it.  After three months, I am sick of dealing with them and listening to their promises and excuses.  When they left today, my husband told Randy that we will not call them again -- If we have any more problems with the roof, we will be calling our attorney.  And, Randy's smart-a** remark was, "Have at it!"

This was a very lucky find. They were timely neat professional and communication was superb. We never had to be concerned and as a family business they were all committed to supporting the customer. I would highly recommend this team for any roofing need.

We were terrified we would have to replace the entire roof since so many shingles were missing. Manatee Roofing thoroughly inspected the roof, reshingled/retabbed the missing areas, fixed other concerns they saw and then guaranteed us to return and replace any other shingles/tabs that come loose for a period of one full year at no additional fee. It took a few extra days to come to our home but always called if they were overbooked with another job. Both Gloria and her husband ( owner/ operators) were very friendly and helpful. We are very satisfied and have no concerns recommending them.

They were neat and clean and fast. They were friendly and personable.
