MANATEE AIR HEATING & COOLING

Purchased mini ductless unit for guest house where my elderly mother was staying. The installation seemed to go fine. I then purchased additional units for the main house. The total cost was thousands and thousands of dollars. Within a couple of years the units - all of them - began to break down or not turn on, giving me various codes. I called them - several times. Their service personal came over more than once, and each time blamed all the problems on the electricity - and failed to tell me that my units were still under warranty. I've called other companies since, who tell me this company used the wrong wiring for communicating. And, that I've since missed my window of opportunity for the products' warranty period, which the original company, "MANATEE AIR", failed to mention each and every time they came over. I would never use this company. I do not recommend. I feel I was really ripped off!!! Wait, there's more - when I thought they were a good company I recommended them to work on an existing AC unit at my brother-in-law's house, which I would pay for, if the repair cost was reasonable. I was given a reasonable price over the phone, and an assurance by the on-site repairman from MANATEE AIR that it would work. I agreed, and was told, after it was done, that the repair I agreed to would not work. That I would need to now pay hundreds of dollars more to maybe get my family's system up & running - an elderly handicapped family member was living in their home! I declined. While my family was scheduling their appt the secretary for this company, MANATEE AIR, was complaining to them about "ME"!!! That they had just done work for this stupid bad customer. Their "stupid" secretary didn't seem to understand that she was 'gossiping' to that prior customer's own family. I would NOT RECOMMEND this unprofessional company, at all !!!!

Problem was solved. There was no charge since I was under servicing contract. This is a company where service trumps need to bill.

 Work began within three business days.  This very large project was completed by four extremely professional and competent repair men in one day. During the day, the manager stopped by 2-3 times to assess progress and keep the owner informed.  Four supply plenums and other parts of the duct system were replaced,  mold killer was sprayed where needed, causes for a leaky vent were addressed, and an Air Knight purifier was installed.

The service crew was very careful to clean up and replace any objects re-located for access to their work area. They were always very accommodating.  So far, we are totally pleased with a job well done and the quality of air within our home has already improved remarkably.  At least, the moldy smell is gone and the air now has a very refreshing and clean smell--such a great change!  Thank you Manatee-Air!!
