Martin does excellent work. He demolished the existing niche, put up new drywall, textured as well as new crown molding. He did a very professional job. After the initial work I had Martin do, I found some addtional work that he is going to come back and do for me.

Martin did an excellent job both inside and out. He works efficiently, is professional and not the least, is a pleasure to work with. I do not hesitate to highly recommend M & M Repair.

Martin is a first class gentleman! Punctual, meticulous, friendly and trustworthy. He treats your home as if it were his own. He has completed three projects for us and they were all outstanding. Many times he was in our home alone while we were away at work and there was never a problem - we trust him completely. I am very particular when it comes to jobs being done correctly - I pay close attention to detail and expect those I hire to do the same. Martin has exceeded my expectations each time!

Martin was a pleasure to do business with. He arranged an appointment for an estimate. Pricing was extremely fair. He arranged for a work appointment and came exactly on time both days. He was neat and efficient and was careful of the surroundings. This skilled gentleman is a find! Adding to my favorites list.

Martin was on time and very friendly. Very easy to work with. He started right away and prepped and repaired the ceilings where necessary. He then started with the texture and was fast and efficient. I am very pleased with the look of the ceiling and fully intend to hire him again when I am ready for the last two rooms.

Martin is a true professional. He arrived on time and his work is meticulous. He is very neat while working. I would highly recommend him.

Because I had to live in the condo while Martin did the work, he removed the popcorn ceiling and painted one room at a time. Removing the popcorn ceiling is a very messy job, but Martin is very careful--not one piece of furniture or carpeting was damaged or stained. Martin removed the popcorn ceiling in each room, repaired any bad spots (I cannot tell at all where they were now), applied the subtle texture I wanted, which matched the walls, and repainted them. He then repainted all the interior walls, doors, and trim. The doors and trim had been painted with oil paint. Martin is so conscientious that when he lightly sanded one of the doors before repainting, he discovered that the door had a layer of latex paint on top of the original oil paint. The latex started to come off in patches, and rather than just paint over it with the oil, Martin took the door home in order to sand the latex completely off before applying the oil paint.
Martin cleaned up at the end of every day. He is meticulous about doing his work very well. He is very professional and one of the nicest people I've met. He completely worked around me and my schedule. Also, I trusted him to be in my house alone. I am extremely pleased with my “new” condo, and already have talked to Martin about coming back to help me with a future project.

Martin was recommended by another Angie's Lister to drywall a garage that's becoming a family room. He got all of the work done on time and with almost no dust anywhere else in the house. He came back another day to make sure it was complete. After that experience, I had him do an estimate on a porch that's becoming a kitchen. Again, the work was extremely clean and precise. I should add that both rooms had extensive hurricane resistance carpentry done - with plates anchoring the roof to the floor. The work that the carpenters did was a mess. Martin had to remove bevelled cross-members that didn't line up with the vertical plates and shim or cut back other areas. He made sure that both vaulted ceilings were absolutely level and symmetrical. When he was finishing the porch, I was priming the garage. Painting is NOT my forte`. It is another of Martin's. He repaired my sloppy base coat then returned the next day and painted the ceiling, and the walls in the 18 x 10 room - including two colors on the wall with a boundary for the chair rail. He did that in one day, and finished the detail drywall on the porch as paint was drying. I had no problem paying his estimate and then some for saving me at least two days on the project.

Everything that we talked about was performed. He sealed off the area that he was working on to keep the surrounding area clean. I highly recommend using his service.

We initially hired Martin to do a small job - to repair a couple walls. He did such an expert job, we asked him to move and replace walls in our bath, front hall, bedroom and a few closets. It is very hard to tell that his walls were not the original walls. He takes pride in making the walls plumb and straight. He also did a very nice job matching the texture to the original. We then had him paint these walls and a few more. He is fast and careful and it looks beautiful. He also helped us remove various sorts of debris and run it to the dump for us. He is reliable and does excellent work and he's a very nice guy. We highly recommend him.

It was a great relief to feel that we'd hired someone that we could trust to do the job right. And, I appreciated his level of consideration. If he was uncertain about the way we wanted something, he asked. There was no oops or jobs to redo with Martin. I wish I could say that about everyone else we've hired. And, Martin is a joy to be around; he has a very easy disposition. He's a gem!
