It went great. My real estate agent recommended Russell and he was very polite and informative when I called, answering all of my novice questions.  He was able to make an appointment based on my hectic schedule, and arrived on time with his two helper men. They introduced themselves to the seller, the agents, the property manager, the tenants, and my mother, and answered all of the questions that we had. They invited us to follow them around and see what they were doing and ask any questions we wanted. They allowed me to climb the ladder into the attic and shone the flashlight for me so that I could see what they were talking about when they spotted some extension cords being used as main wiring and a leak in the roof. They were very very thorough, and emailed me about a 40 page report at the end, with pictures of anything and everything you could possibly ever want to see. Russell is also a contractor, so, while he was there, he was able to give me ballpark figures of what certain repairs might cost. I, of course, got official estimates later from other contractors, but this helped me decide if I wanted to keep on with the house or not. He was very good in providing the inspection report the same day via email and answering the follow up email that I sent him. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to get their home inspected.
