Did a good job thinning trees. Removal of dying maple took two days. Stump was ground a few days later. Only disappointment was that the mound of sawdust/dirt left behind was not hauled away. Would have been done at an extra charge but a couple of bags a week out on the curb with the regular lawn refuse and it'll be gone in no time. Also recommended treatment of second maple to stop beginning infestation of borer beetles that had got the other tree.

This is the second year in a row that we have used Brian. Brian Johnsen is a certified arborist. His team is always professional, polite and neat. They did an excellent job. They kept checking with me to make sure that I was satisfied with how things were looking. They cleaned everything up before they left. Our trees look great. Brian pointed out an insect problem with one of our trees and told us what we needed to do to have the problem corrected. Brian is professional, on time, honest and friendly. We really trust him and will continue to use him every year.

I would recommend him without any reservations whatsoever. He was honest, up front, on time, responsive and he cleaned up everything beautifully.

We love him. Brian Johnsen is the arborist. He’s a certified arborist and has a bonded license. He really knows trees. Someone had written a report and they liked him so well that they gave him something like an advertisement telling the story about the oak trees that he dealt with. So I had him come out and work on my trees in the front yard. When we need a lot of work, we call him in. We’ve used him several years on these trees and also for the back. He just made it look s beautiful. He took all the weeds out and just cut it. They climb and they don’t come in your yard with their heavy equipment. They use chains and harnesses all over the tree. They cut it just perfectly. He used an expandable kind of fabric so that the tree wouldn’t be harmed as it grew. The material will expand as the tree grows. I’ve had that for two years and it’s been perfect. I just can’t say too much about him. He’s a good worker. We have him out every other year. He’s not inexpensive but he’s reasonable comparatively considering what he does. If you’re his customer, I think he gives a better price. He’s never damaged anything when he came out to do the work. They cut the trees and take it away. They grind the stumps if anything is left. He does a good job. Sometimes it’s hard to get him but when he says he’s going to come he comes. He’s just very busy. We would use his services again in the future.
