Description of Work: My 2001 Crown Victoria was blowing only heat, no air conditioning and no way to control heat. My second problem was my right blinker was not working well and my windshield wipers were not working consistently. | I got an appointment in a timely manner. A problem with the electrical system was found, my blinker and wipers were fixed. The blending door that opens and closes in the regulation of going from heat to cooling was stuck in a closed position. My car was fixed the day I brought it in. I was provided a ride to my home while they worked on the car, when it was finished they came to my home to ride me back to the shop. I was very happy with their explanation and estimate they gave me before work was done. When I go there I feel like I am one of the family in how I am treated. My trust in them is based on my 5 years of great service with them. I recommend them as the Best car repair shop in the Bradenton-Sarasota area.

Description of Work: The Sonata needed a tune-up - new plugs, wires and tuning. They did a great job and the price was less than the dealership. They provided a ride home and back to pick the care up that dealership no longer does. They explained everything before they did it and followed up when they were done, including showing me one of the leads that was starting to ash from arcing. It was REALLY time to get this done.

Description of Work: Diagnosed vibration, full inspection of suspension. Also balanced 4 wheels, adjusted alignment(no charge) replaced hydraulic front motor mount, changed oil & filter (incl 8qts synthetic oil) took us to our condo & picked us up in a driving rain storm (yes it does rain in Florida in March) everything was done professionally for less than the original estimate. They went above and beyond. Even gave me a 10 percent discount for using Angie's List. Can't say enough good things about Pat and his staff!

They are also very personable. We never feel like were getting cheated or ripped off. They made sure we had transportation home when we took our car in. We have never been disappointed with them.
Description of Work: I had a check up on my car. They changed the oil, fixed a hole in my gas tank, and rotated the tires.

 + -1 moreAlthough only the cable that operates the window was broken, the entire package (motor, cable, controller) comes as a package. I had been given an estimate from the dealer that was more than $100 higher than the price at Gulf Auto. I've been taking cars to Gulf Auto for about 4 years now. They are excellent mechanics, who provide very high quality service at a reasonable price. Whenever there are used or rebuilt parts available, they make every effort to find and use them to save the customer money. I recommend Gulf Auto to all my friends.
