Recently we completed the Florida State University Panama City, FL Hurricane Michael contract. This consisted of 28 acres and over 400 downed trees as well as 150 that were pruned to save as many as possible. Emerald Tree Service, is one of the premier full tree service companies in Bradenton, Florida and surrounding cities. Family owned and Veteran operated, Our tree service is Insured, well qualified and experienced to handle any tree care situation you may have. We have built a strong name in our city and look forward to repeat and new customers each year. We own all the neccesary equipment including a 30 Ton Crane to be able to manage the most difficult jobs other companies cant. We agreed upon the price to straighten a slightly bent tree, set up a week and was waiting for call to confirm date and time. A week later, they still hadn't called. I called them and they promised they would come the following week. They never called - I called them again and they put it off for another week. Once again, no call and no show. My final call to them a month after the original appointment was set up was told they had bad news and were leaving for the Carolina's and might not be back in the area for six months. They were not interested in rescheduling and I was totally blown off.

"First off as the New Owner of Emerald I'd like to sincerely apologize for your unfortunate experience. Somehow during the transition of ownership and the deployment to North Carolina your work order was not completed. There was a change in personnel as well in our sales department during the same period. Though we strived to make the transition as smooth as possible inevitably there may be some bumps along the way. "Totally blown off" is not the results we're looking for. Truthfully however we have not resumed any operations in Sarasota as we have been in Panama City working to clean up Hurricane Michael's Carnage immediately after working in NC. Therefore its not that we wouldn't be interested in rescheduling. We can not give an accurate date as to when we'd be able to do so. Our previous reviews on Angie's List and their trusted partner Home Advisor give a far more accurate depiction of our service history.. Again I apologize for your unfortunate experience. Emerald Tree and Landscaping trimmed our palms, some other trees and a big hedge. They removed a magnolia and replaced with a palm. The job was very professional, everything looks much better than before and they cleaned up everything before they left. We will use them again and will happily recommend them. Excellent quality service at a good price.

These guys were very professional. They had great communication skills and did all of their own clean up. They were definitely here to help the people of Houma recover from Hurricane Gustav.
