Absolutely appalled by the unprofessional manner of this company. We called this company as a second opinion for an issue with our AC. After the first quote we had a general idea of the issue but being naive to this matter we thought it best to get a second opinion. The technician- ISMEAL SAMANO- absolutely tried to take advantage of the fact that only myself was here (female,29) and not my husband. After getting the feeling this was happening - I followed my gut and called my husband to have him speak with the tech directly (all of which was on speaker, I was able to hear everything). This tech spoke of many issues - suggested a whole new AC UNIT, and then casually let my husband know he would be "rinsing off the coil, probably won't do much, but may help for now". At the time of payment, I received a total of $221.30. The original price of the quote was $89. Confused I asked the technician to please explain the additional cost. He seemed lost.. Could only say that "I normally HAVE to charge close to $300 for that rinse service, I dont feel comfortable doing to that you. So I charged you the least I could." - Which was around $130.00 for a rinse... of our water. I made sure to ask if this was proper procedure for their technicians to performs tasks on a unit that cost money to the homeowners, without their knowledge. No reply. Before the technician left, my husband and I made sure to ask what exactly that rinse did, are we able to run the unit now at least? This technician told us yes. Although the technician from days prior from COOL TODAY made sure to tell us to try to leave it off as much as possible due to overheating. Scared of what can happen in that instance I made sure to be clear to ask this technician again that it is safe to keep on. He said yes again, just as the unit shut off and can very audibly hear it attempting to kick back on (causing it to overheat). I pointed this out to him and he attempted to say it was because our thermostat was set to that temperature, that is why it cut off. I immediately went to set it lower to show him that is not the case, that it won't kick back on and stay. But instead, this technician absolutely knew we were skeptical of him and his request for payment and that his "rinse" for $130 did absolutely nothing. He nearly ran out the door. After going through all of this I attempted right away to call customer service to inquire if this is proper procedure for their technicians to do this without homeowner approval. Her response was "No, but it sounds like there may have been things said I don't know about, so wait for 12 hours and well get back to you". Absolutely appalled. I greatly pride myself on my involvement with my community and close-knit relationship with my mom groups online. I am happy I am at least able to spread this awareness so all my other Mama's can avoid being targeted by despicable company. Be safe and aware Mama's, ladies, and everyone without proper knowledge!

I purchased a new A/C system from Elite Heating/Air and preventative maintenance was included in the sales price. An appointment was made for preventative maintenance on 12/14/2017 from 3pm to 5pm. On 12/14/2017 at approximately 9:30 am, I received a call from the maintenance tech requesting to come by in the morning "because he is in the area". I did not give the technician permission to come by early and expected my original appointment to be honored. The tech does not arrive for the scheduled appointment or notify me via phone.

Everything went well... fan motor on old unit went bad, 500 plus service call chg of 98 for a replacement. My unit was 11 y.o.,.. In Florida, figured it was time to replace rather than to put a band aid on it...Salesman came to my home, explained all options. I had 2 other estimates. Chose DAIKIN brand.... ELITE IS A "PRO" DAIKIN INSTALLER....12 yr parts warr, for 600 more, purchased 12 yr labor warr included as well. They came out the next day, did the install, cleaned up, gave me 98 dollar credit for the original service call, transferred UV lights from old unit to new at NC....overall great to deal with..... nice salesman (Kirk), (he deserves a raise) no pressure ...I would highly recommend...

We have used them for sometimes before we subscribed to Angie's List. Quite a bit it was the faucet in the kitchen. It was good. Just that I am use to them, I guess. I did have a little bit of a problem, but it was resolved. They didn't really listen to me. The work took about five to six hours. They cleaned up. Just learn to listen to your customer. It was good that they listen to my concerns.

Mike Swenson represented his company well. He did a thorough inspection and gave a reasonable estimate. The workers arrived on time and were very professional. Work was completed as scheduled. Excellent results.

They were very punctual and efficient

The service guy came, looked at our furnace, which actually seemed to be working well, held up a clicking gadget and told us that our particular furnace make and model was known for failing before it's life expectancy -- and ours was failing. He said that it had a severe freon leak and said it wasn't worth servicing and that we just needed to replace both the inside and outside units. I asked him to service it anyway, since that's what I called for and the air was plenty cool. He said he wouldn't service it but the diagnostic service was $90. We were doubtful but we paid the guy. About a month later our regular service guy got back and he examined and serviced our HVAC. He said there is no problem with the units at all, just needed the drain line cleaned. His service call was $65. We called the management at Elite, told them our story, and they did refund our $90. That was a year and a half ago and our HVAC has been running smoothly ever since. I don't trust a company whose service reps are actually dishonest salesmen in disguise.

I am a repeat customer. We had Elite install a 2 1/2 ton 15 seer heat pump and a 17 seer 2 stage 4 ton heat pump systems in this house. In addition they modified the zone system for the 4 ton system to break off a 3rd zone for 2 guest bedrooms that are used infrequently. Elite is one of 3 Dailin dealers locally. Daikin offers a 12 year parts and labor warranty backed by the manufacture. 5 installers (2 crews) showed up at 8:30 and by 3 pm they were finished. It went very smooth. Highly recommend Elite for your AC needs.

Best contractor experience, ever. Honest & efficient.

It went smoothly until it came to programming the thermostat.  However, they called in another employee and they got it handled.

Great company. Excellent follow through.

They installed a high end Daikin 5 Ton heat pump system and they modified ductwork from 2 to 3 zones. It took 2 days to complete due to extensive duct work modification.

The modified duct work with the Inverter system allows us to cool down our master bedroom at night and leave the rest of the house shut down. With the 5 ton inverter system the AC runs like a at 25% or less, like a 1 ton system, when one zone is calling.

They installed 3 wifi communicating thermostats and a new Zone board. It was a complex installation and one of the first 5 Ton Heat Pump inverter systems. Elite had manufacture reps come out to assist to fine tune the zones.

Wifi thermostats allow me to control each zone and monitor temperatures and humidity remotely via smartphone or Internet from anywhere. During the day when we use the pool we shut the master bedroom door to the rest of the house, turn off that zone and open the sliding glass door to the pool. The rest of the house remains cool airconditioned and the bedroom is at outdoor temperature so we don't freeze when entering wet from the pool.

Installers, Miguel and Danny worked efficiently, let me know all steps. Once the unit was physically installed Lee came out to program the system. I can't say too many good things about Lee. I am a retired Field Technical Services Manager and I would have loved to have someone like Lee on my team. Exceptional communication, great technical skills and all aroumd great guy.

Mike, who is a part owner, stopped out a few times to make sure everything was going well. Another great communicator.

The owner, Tod, has a great group of people working for him. I highly recommend them for Air Conditioning needs in the area.

I use Elite Heating & Air. What keeps me coming back to them is that they have always done a good job and haven't pressured me into anything. I feel comfortable with them. What stands out is that they are always on time, they give you a time stand of I think 2 hours and they are always right there at the beginning of the first hour. I have never had them come later than that. They are always very professional and tell me what they did, if I needed anything or if everything was okay. For the price, honestly, I didn't compare them with others as someone I know very well recommended them to me.

My old system had been diagnosed as needing a new fan motor and since it was already 15 years old and had stopped previously I decided to invest in a new system.  Patrick came out and quoted very competitively on a new seer 16 system. The company would not be able to do the installation until the following week so Patrick offered to have a tech come out and install a temporary fan motor, at no additional cost, so that we would have cooling. Two very qualified techs came out and not only install the fan motor but had to install a larger capacitor in order to jump start the compressor. This is way above and beyond normal customer service.

In the following week 2 techs came with the new unit and were expert, courteous, efficient, and professional.  There was just one minor problem in that they did not have the correct breaker to go with the system. So, someone from the home office, about 20 miles away, delivered one to the site and all was well.

I could not be more satisfied and would use them again and recommend them to friends.

Sales person provided helpful information so that we could make the most cost effective selection.  The unit has an excellent warranty.  Installers were on time, efficient, and completed the job as promised.  We have used it through one summer and one winter and it has functioned well. 
The brackets on a new ceiling return vent broke over the summer.  When I contacted Elite, they sent a technician to replace it promptly.  We have not experienced any other problems.  
I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
