BETTER BOAT COVERS

Steve's workman ship and quality is second to none. I read a few reviews before calling and am I glad I went with better boat covers. Steve made me a custom full cover for my Boston whaler 230 dauntless and He matched my current canvas for my Bimini top cover perfectly. He made a special cut out for my trolling motor so that I don't have to do anything special to cover my boat. It is tight enough to run down the highway without any issues. Really a work of art to get all the cut outs right and make it look like it came with the boat. I could not be happier at any price point but Better Boat Covers was by far the most reasonable and had the best turn around time. I will be coming back with all my future boats. I am very dissapointed with this compay. Initially i was very impressed with him and he was very nice on the phone for the initial meeting. I arranged for them to come to the house to make a cover for me. He did come to the house on the designated date but was too early for me to make it there I had meetings in the morning he was to be at the house at 1230 PM. When we did get in touch he said that he would come the following day. I got a call the day he was to come to the house to measure the boat (second meeting that he asked for) and he told me it was too far for him and he would not make any money on the job, yet on his web page he says he services St. Pete, and Venice which is much further than Palmetto by 30 minutes. His work may be great but his "I don't care attititude" when I called him back to say how dissapointed i was that he was not going to do the job would not allow me to recommend this service provider to anyone. Use Caution when deciding to use this company!

This guy is a pro! He was friendly, very helpful in helping me design what I wanted and completed the job in a timely manner. He came out to my boat gave me an estimate on cost and the time he expected to complete the job. He met all my expectations. The quality of his work was top notch. I am a very satisfied customer. I highly reccomend Steve for any of your boat canvas needs.
